I have the big request for anyone who would have the english subtitles of certain episodes from the second season. I have a few episodes in our dubbing, i found there the english scripts of the initial episodes of the season two (2x01 - 2x03), but the rest of the episodes have not any transcription or only partial.
I want to create the subtitles for my grandpa, who likes this tv series also but he does not know any words in english. I understand the most of the text, but sometimes I have some uncertainties as well, so the subtitles would be useful for me also.
If someone had the english subtitles for any of these episodes and he would be willing sent it to me, i would be a very happy person:
2x04 The Voyage to Hell 2x08 The Beast of Basra 2x11 The Invaders 2x16 The Griffins Tale 2x17 The Beast of Dark 2x18 Survival Run 2x19 The Minotaur 2x20 The Guardians 2x22 Hell House
It is only the attempt, but if you had some of them it would be the great present for me and for my grandpa. I would be willing to help you also in the case of some similar wishes.

It is the shame, I hoped that i will make the subtitles for all episodes, which were not aired in my country or their dubbing is gone. I know about the existence of episode guide, I used it for creating the initial episodes from the second season.
Doubar, thanks to your interest and your effort to help me...

It is a shame indeed. But you're welcome. I just wish I could have been of more help.

Sure, you can always ask. I even pondered doing the same and trying to provide you with a self-made script, but I just don't have the time to do that, unfortunately. But if there's just a couple of scenes you need help with then, I'm sure I - or someone else - can be of service.

Thank you Doubar, I want to start with The Beast of Basra and Invaders, I did not have many problems with understanding during their watching, for example The Voyage to Hell I must watch at first, it is some time from the last watching.
Thank you for your willingness, you are great.
By the way, I think that I bring you the pleasure in my story, because I got a few interesting ideas for it during my trip (France gave me the inspiration, it is the great country) and one of them is your wish to see one concrete couple.

) and one of them is your wish to see one concrete couple. Aaaaaah... *please insert massive squaling here* how awesome. ;D ;D ;D ;D ... >.> <.< ... Ahem. Please excuse this little outburst of fangirlishness. I sometimes can't help it. x) But seriously, that's great. I just really love it how there's now more people writing about/including those two as a couple. :3 Aw, and I'm glad to hear France inspired you this much. I've only ever been there once when I was a child and fear I don't remember much of it anymore. But telling from what I heard from friends it's a great and beautiful country indeed. And you're welcome. It's a pleasure to be of help when I can. All the more when the purpose is such a lovely one as creating subtexts for your granddad.

So i has started with the The beast of Basra, I have first fifteen minutes and i have a few questions:
1. The scene when Yaga at first appeared in the dock. Albetta told him something about the crew (i am not sure what), i am not sure the most of this conversation, with the exception that he recomended to bury the dead bodies and he offered that the crew can stay in Kulu house. and during the fight with one man Sinbad said something as "Thanks to you perception.", but i am not sure of this.
2. When they entered to Kulu house, he talked about Omar, that he is gone for the month, i did not understand the end.
3. The talk of Bryn and Mal about the fact that they are similar.
4. When the hunt started, Kulu said something about Mal illness. I did not understand the end of this statement.
5. Sinbad asked Albetta, if they can help. he said that he would refuse... and i am not sure of the end of this sentence.
6. When the creature escaped, Firouz commented it in the style: "I did not see anything similar." it is all, or it was there more? And Sinbad asked Albetta, what is at this side of the city and he talked about Kulu house and something different, which i did not understand.
If everyone could help me, it would be great.

Hey there. So I am just watching the scenes now and will write down what I understand they're saying. I can't promise it's 100% correct, but I'm trying my best. 1) Yaga's first sceneAlbetta: (to Yaga) They're sailors. We had to stop'em. (?) mark, you understand, Yaga. Sinbad: He seems to have quite an influence on these people. Yaga: The curse will end with cunning and not barbarism. Kulu: Yaga has experience in this sort of thing. Yaga: Two wagons are on the way: One for the crates and the other... (trails off) *to Kulu* They must be buried before nightfall. And at best you stay at Kulu's home for a few nights. someone: You think that's wise? Yaga: Perhaps they can provide you with the protection you need. ---end of scene--- Oh, btw. what Sinbad said does indeed seem to be: "Thanx for your perception." I think it refers to how badly the other guy aimed with his axe/sword/whatever. But I'm not entirely sure either. 2) Kulu's houseKulu: Omar has been away for months. And with Omar gone mob rule has set in. *to Mal* Mal, you should be upstairs in your room. (I think that's all you wanted here, right?) 3) Talk between Bryn and MalMal: I'm ill father, not dead. And very glad of that, I might add. It's not often we have visitors to Basra. Especially such a charming one. Bryn: *laughs* Flattering. *smiles* I don't hear much of that. Mal: And I've only just begun. I feel that we two are alike. Bryn: And how's that? Mal: We both travelled far, overcome great obstacles and survived. Bryn: Well, I don't exactly remember where I've travelled. Mal: *to Kulu* I remember only too well where I've travelled. Kulu: I... should supervise the unloading. 4) The hunt beginsBryn: Will Mal be alright? Kulu: He's safe in his room. His illness causes him great fatique. 5) Sinbad's questionSinbad: Need some help? Albetta: I won't refuse. Just be on your guard. This creature's from hell. [A/N: Man, that guy is so hard to understand! x.x ] 6) The Escape*creature escapes* Sinbad: What is that thing? Firouz: I've heard of such beast, but I've never actually seen one. Sinbad: Sounds like it's heading south. *to Albetta* What's on that side of town? Albetta: A wooden area and... *trails off* Sinbad: And? Albetta: The house of Kulu the merchant. Sinbad: Let's go. *they all run off* So... I hope this has been helpful to you. I really am sorry about the question mark I had to leave but I really don't understand what Albetta is saying there. In our dubbing he says something that would translate into "We shouldn't let them into town. Banish them, Yaga. It's in your power." But that clearly doesn't fit with what he says in the original.

Thank you very much, i will do the next piece and later i maybe ask some next things
I think that i use the version from your dubbing, the most important thing is that the sense will be the same.
I do not understand what mean the last sentence in the question 5, who talked there this?
It is great that you help me, if you want to help with something, you do not hesitate...

You're welcome, Manche. I am happy to be of help. And sure, do use our version. It's not exactly the same, as I said, but the general idea is not too different from the original version. *snickers* You mean that one: " [A/N: Man, that guy is so hard to understand! x.x ]" ? ;D Heeehehe, that was a personal comment from me on how Albetta speaks. ;D Because it really took me half an eternity to figure out what he said in that moment, and I just wanted to let you know that you're not the only one having troubles understanding him. x) Sorry I got you confused! And thanx for the offer.

4) The hunt beginsBryn: Will Mal be alright? Kulu: He's safe in his room. His illness causes him great fatique. And I want to assure. He said before this conversation something as. "I must create my good." (he talked about his safety, not about his goods, i am right?

I'll check on that in a moment, but as far as I recall it he said something along the lines of "check on my goods".

Thank you with this information I have the first fifteen minutes complete, so I will look at the next fifteen minutes and i will make the next list of uncertainties.
I hope that i am not so annoying with the connection of this, but the listening is not the strogest part of my English skills and i want to make the most accurate subtitles. I am also planning to put them on the internet for all the fans in our country who are not so experienced in English.
