Apologies for disappearing again. Real life got crazy once more.
@doubar: No worries, dear. Touch of Destiny isn’t going anywhere. And at the rate I’m posting, it will be a decade before I finish it.
@kriss: Thanks so much for your review as always!! Watching and The Red Dress were indeed meant to mirror each other in that way, to show them coping with the situation, miserable and lonely and longing for the other a thousand miles away. I am beyond happy this chapter was worth the wait for you!! Oh and of course Firouz had to play a part in why Sinbad had to change outfit! XD
And I read your story Impossible Love, which I think was simply beautiful! It really felt like a missing scene that could have been included in the episode! I think you really capture the essence of the show in Maeve and Sinbad's interactions. Thanks for sharing!
And I like your addiction analogy. I think it’s quite fitting, like a coping mechanism Sinbad succumbs to, self-destructing in the process. Although, to be honest, I won’t abuse it too much in Touch of Destiny. He will slip a few times, it’s inevitable, giving in to the temptation like he did with Shirez, which was made quite obvious in the show. But it won’t happen so many times in my story. Still, even if he screws up a dozen times or two-three times only, the problem is that he DOES give in to other women, and it WILL rattle his relationship with Maeve unfortunately. However, without giving away too much, Maeve won’t exactly be clean either…
Gods, I wish I could write this story faster!!! You have no idea!! There are all these future scenes in my head that I want to share with you guys, but I have to write like 50 chapters just to get to them and it is SOOO frustrating!!!!
