Yay!! I'm so happy you enjoyed the new chapters!! 

A man! A savior! A handsome one! And a brave one!
A perfect start for some love-plot (it could be). They are teasing each other and so and then it is like 'HEY! STOP!'. It is Maeve. Sinbad's Maeve.
But you thought about that too.

Robin as such is very interesting character and seems I really gonna like him. Maybe it is too early to say that but for a moment I thought he could be some kind of an answer for Sinbad's S2 "adventures". But let's see.

And I do have an actor in mind for Robin. I'll reveal it when I post the next chapter this weekend!
The next few chapters will also feature a bunch of new lovable characters with their own casting as well...

Now here’s to satisfying Kriss’s curiosity! I was planning on revealing Robin’s casting only after posting chapter 8 because I wanted to introduce him along with all the other characters, but oh well.

Russel! Good choice! I imagined Robin more or less like that - "iron arm".
Was thinking more about someone younger like Tom Hardy but now really thinks that Russel fits there.

Yay! I'm glad you like him! The picture is from Gladiator. Russel's character Maximus has been my model for Robin for the past decade

And funny, how the chapters with Robin have changed in my head once I know who was "the model" for the character.

I finally found some time to read your fic! It was very much in snatches in the train or just a few minutes before bed etc. so I think I might be missing the scope of things/ But it's so good! I like your descriptive style, that really pulls me in and makes me feel like part of the story. So I really love it.
On the nitpicky side: sometimes your descriptors are a little off. Like, maze is not a term for lots of trees, so when you say 'she woke up to a maze of trees', I think she woke up in a hedgemaze type situation, only with trees instead of a hedge. I think you were trying to convey Maeve's disorientation, but you disorientated the reader (or, you know, me at least) instead. A second nitpick: when the bad guys in the woods are after Maeve to capture and rape her, you say things like 'what she has on offer' to refer to the bad guys' lust for her body. However, 'on offer' implies a consensual act, namely, she offers something. As in this context, the men are trying to sexually assualt her, her body is decidedly not on offer. My advice about writing sexual assualt and rape is not to be coy about it and not to make it in any way sexy (which you did not do, but is good advice in general because the number of times I have seen movies where rape and assault scenes are framed for the male gaze is truly atrocious!). Now, I think you were trying to talk around the issue a bit to make the situation more palatable for the reader, which is absolutely a legitimate choice. Maybe just think about how you frame it. Maeve had a fist in the face on offer for those creeps and that was about it. The creeps objectified her, don't make the mistake of doing the same.

Ahem, I'll get off my soapbox now. It's just a topic near and dear to my heart as I have been trying to educate gamers on not using the word 'rape' as a joke for aaaaages now. It's an uphill battle I tell you but I continue to do it because I think sexual assault survivors should be able to safely play video games without being triggered all of the damn time. But that is a topic for another day.

I really enjoy your fic a lot. I hope you find time to put up more soon! If you ever want to chat about writing, I'd love to talk, I'm sure I could find some time. If not, that's cool too, this is your baby and you're very brave to share it!

I know those were big chapters to read and process, but in terms of setting things into context it was necessary. These new characters are going to stick around for a while anyway, so they had to be introduced one way or another

The chapter left me breathless but I am so with you in the interpretation of events from S2. And here it goes. I am pretty sure you would choose the same screenshot of Sinbad from Heart And Soul for this one but correct me if I am wrong
