My goodness, Kriss!!! You made me look like such a grinning fool at work today on my quick lunch break!! This is so beautiful, I couldn't stop smiling!  My muse was struck by lightning right then and there, and I couldn't wait to get back home to keep editing The Red Dress!  Thank you so much for this little gem! It's priceless!  And thank you so much for your wonderful reviews on FF.net! I'm really happy you like my little bunch of new characters and that I managed to make them more familiar to the reader! Oh and trust me the Skinwalkers and the Kawasseas are going to be quite gruesome creatures. The monsters she faced with the crew were fearsome for sure, but Maeve has definitely never faced anything like this  Or at least I don't feel like she did  I can't wait for you to read those battle sequences! Oh and I completely agree with you in that we have a very similar interpretation of season 2. As you'll see throughout the story, Maeve will get to witness a snippet of every episode from season 2, which unfortunately doesn't really shine a good light on Sinbad's behaviour...Which is why to balance things out I've written missing scenes from Sinbad's POV for every season 2 episode so that we get to experience what it was like for him as well. So get ready for more missing scenes from season 2! All my stars, I love to write about these two idiots missing each other terribly while being two worlds apart... |

So it madeks two of us smiling-to-the-phone-during-lunch-brake But it is amazing how good we are inspiring each other If I knew that it works so on your muse I would create five pics to have quicker more chapters Ok, I am then waiting for the creatures to pop up in the story and give Maeve a chance to show her ability. She is gonna watch every single event from S2?! Now, I am really worry for her because I already know what she is going to see. Shiraze for example. I am really curious how you gonna "show" it to her but something tells me it is going to be yet again chapter full of emotions. For the missing scenes I so can't wait. I really love your missing scenes - all of them. Not only from this story but all around FF. I very othen come back to them and know them by heart almost. I know that I have never really reviewed any but believe me I love them. And it is good that you like to write about these two because you are doing it in an amazing way. You are filling in all the gaps that show left in the way I dreamed for them to be filled. |

I remember this seeing pool project where Maeve offered very interesting interpretations of these events (it helped to me accept some S2 things with which I had a problem), this will be certainly interesting as well. I agree that she will see some unpleasant things (agree with Shirez, but for me the worst example is Deanna - she was decribed as an old girlfriend of Sinbad, it could look to her that he still had the interest about this girl when he showed his interest about Maeve in S1). And I hope that we will see her reaction towards the next members of the crew as well (I would be curious of her reaction to Doubar suffering in The Beast of Basra, Rongar ordeal in Bollnah from Ali Rashid or the meeting of Firouz with Velda). |

Oh, I swear that this is only an accident that this woman was mentioned by me in two topics in such a short time - I am not a Deanna-hater or something like this. And you wrote a missing scene for her? I would be interested in reading it, can I find it on fanfiction? I am watching such many worderful stories, I will be glad that I can add next one. |

Yeah, hating fictional charactes is something such useless. And I know TV series where fans hated some characters so badly that I could not believe it. Weren't even in the fandom of Sinbad such fanatics during the original broadcasting when Bryn replaced Maeve? I have a feeling that someone mentioned it in a topic, I do not remember details. I knew that it was only a joke. Thank you, dear Kriss. I will find the time to read it. |

Hey guys!! I think I’m doing a little bit better in terms of delays this time! XD New chapter of Touch of Destiny, aka The Red Dress will be up shortly, later today or sometime tomorrow once I’m done with a proper read through to correct typos. In my defense, this chapter is over 10K words.  In the meantime, here’s a little mood board I spent way too much time creating for this, to get you “in the mood”! Haha! I can't wait for this chapter from the very moment you first mentioned it in some of our chats. About the delay... I so understand you I have a few chapters of "This is my idea" and two other fanfics (btw, one of them can be really in a similar mood to Red Dress xD) waiting for the last reading and corrections.
