Yes sometimes is useful to listen to Firouz's thoughts but sometimes is better to run (the ending of the Prince who was not)
I remember how he tried to explain the function of magnoscop to Doubar in the third episode and how Doubar still interrupted Firouz (it was so funny)

Aye, true that. In many aspects the two seasons differ from each other, almost enough to nearly make them two seperate shows. And Sinbad's attitude towards women definitely belongs to the elements that changed the most. And whether that's for the better or not, each fan will have to decide on their own. Personally, I didn't much like that change about the captain even though it would be a raher realistic one. *shrugs* ---- *snortgiggles* Doubar almost always interrupts Firouz or just walks away groaning when the inventor tries to explain something. ;D

And Firouz sometimes also looked as two different people in the both series.

I mean that so much womanizer is maybe not good... a hercueles was there more gentlmen... *hehehe* but 1st seasin in my eye he was a lil bit to much boyish.. and 2nd a MEN... you saw his muscles he fights more with his sword (I love swords), that outfit... lovely... well I just like real mens and not mums darlings.

LOL! I guess I was still too innocent minded then, because I really liked the boyish sailor way more than I did the womanizer captain. ;D I mean, sure, the muscles were nice but that leather pants... you would wonder how he manages wearing them without melting ... in the southern seas... with salt water everywhere... xD Anyway. Yeah, for me his nature and character always counted more than the looks. Plus, the hair was kinda awful in many S2 eps so... >.> *suddenly hopes Zen does never read this thread, eep* Well, each to their liking.

And in the connection with Doubar... In Conundrum he said that he is astonished how is Firouz able to create the inventions by his head and hands. If he listened to him sometimes maybe he would have understood it more.

manche: Yay. *high fives* Aww, and I actually love that scene from Conundrum. Shows that in fact the two admire each other. Haha, true that, if only Doubar did listen to Firouz's explanations every now and then he might understand better. ;D maeve3000: Lol, I guess I could well do without that, thanx. ;D Hehe and as for wild long hair... well, I, too, adore Fresians. They sure are most beautiful and their hair is just.... gosh... *gets all dreamy* Concerning Sinbad and these massive hair and curls though... well, let's just say he's no Fresian after all. xP *ducks head just in case*

I thing I'm a fir... so as "bad demon" that was the bad part of that guy. and also well "Baumbart" lord of the rings has the best :-)

I have to say that I did like long hair once, my own was very long, but it started to give me headaches and it got chopped as kid I used to had hairs till my bottom when I was at the 5 grade or 6n grade I went to the hairdresser and told CUT was a lil shorter as shoulder length then... hairdresser first hadn't want it. thick, curly that long hairs cut?? when I then arrived at home with my bike my grandpa was at our shop and by saw me drive over our parking zone to our private yard he told my mum "has the girls already boyfriends there drove a boy to your yard!" OPS. the other day by catch my then best friend at our way to school she was soooo mad at me ;D I thing you can say a lil like the actress who played Shirez was my hairs. my biggest mistake which I did!! cut it. now I try to let them grown but right now not results which I like. also I love curls but right now I have again the phase where I want them smooth but not get it smooth even hairdresser needed 3 hours the last time. wonder how for example Jacq and all the others who had natural curls did it of their own. last time I did it 2 weeks ago tooked me over an hour. and when I saw then pics someone did from a horse event and saw me then also at that pic since I used to photograph there "Ops did I told hairs are smooth behind very curly!"

Ooooh, don't get me wrong guys. I totally love long hair, too. Though some poeple also just look incredibly stunning with short hair. It really depends on the face it goes with, really.

Well, I have naturally wavy hair with curls underneath. I got such terrible headaches my hair is to my shoulder blades now.
The book of Before....I'm sorry but that just seemed like a cop-out in some way. It really didn't explain what the book did, did it?
It's been forever since I've seen the ep, so my memory isn't to clear on it.

Uh, ya know Firouz, where would be the drama in that? I mean, where would all the tension go then? We would have missed that big daaaangerous tree chasing the crew, would have missed the fear in their gaze aand Sinbad's manly stand-alone, saving his crew with that great voice of his. Naah, fire would have been way to easy. *is being so totally sarcastic now* Uh, and why don't you ask Bryn? She's the sorceress in this group. I never realized this fact, probably because this episode does not belong to my favourite episodes. Even if Bryn was not able to create fire, there was our Firouz who usually has a few exploding sticks in his pocket. It would be enough for this dangerous tree, I think. And I agree that this tree belongs to the most ridiculous villains in this TV series. Before it, it is probably only the evil toilet paper from the Return of The Ronin.
