Well, it's not crap, but it needs a little more 'something'. I'll be watching for the PM.

for me this is the most worse episode ever. it's a wiccan episode but Ed Naha seems not know any of Wiccans. At least the name wiccan it called these days I thing around 1970 someone made it call wicca... what I actually never liked for me it's simple "the old religion"
I mean with the tree, and that forrest ghost or what ever it was nice it show that they are close to the nature BUT well simple some wiccans mistakes...

I also consider this episode to be one of the worst from the whole series, maybe the second worst after the Empress. I found the list of top episodes at tv com a few years ago according the ratings by users (it is not here anymore) and this episode was together with the Hell house top rated from the whole second season, it was compared with The Village Vanishes (both of them were the twelfth episodes in the series) I love The Village Vanishes (it is the best episode of the whole series in my opinion) but this episode was the big disappointment for me.
The confusing plot, it was mentioned in the comment of Doubar and I completely agree with him.
The uninteresting villians and the next characters were also boring for me and the behaviour of Gianna was very unbalanced from the brave woman to frightened girl.
Sinbad's necessary kiss with the girl of the week.
Ridiculous monsters and I must curse killing the redshirts again. It could have been done in a better way, if they wanted to include it to the script at least. In the first hunt with the monster, one of the unnamed Abodi's guides, who was at the head of the fleeing group the whole time, suddenly was the last in the group, he was simply standing there, he did not try to run or something similar, like a sheep to the slaughter. And the second redshirt, all members tried to escape the arrows and he also only stayed here, he did not try to run, it looked so ridiculously.

"No women is allowed to protect to book!" like christians who believe through womens the sin came into the world... the old religion respect the female female and male are equal so there can be a balance. the old religion adore the female. it's the female who give birth mother nature is female, the sun is female. so then this rule "no women carries the book" make me direct dislike the storyline. then the old religion has it roots in irland/eire so actually it where e better episode for the 1st season where Maeve was there. CELT for me Maeve is a wiccan / old religion believer and I thing there are few fan fics which shows Maeve as a pristess of Avalon. so where was that episode play? I not remember the original voices/text but the german version there this bad druid call hs daughter my high pristress ... the old religion/wiccan .. and this is only my point of view... for me there are only many pristresses but only ONE high pristress... and I not thing that this lady is it... and then the high pristress is also the high pristress for the druids she is equal to the highst druid. (the famoust druid is Merlin) that stones where they was standing yb looking into the mad is probably a try to "build" the stonehege? I not know how they came on the idea with wicca but as at few myhts episides like that with Zerverus the details was missing... the authors didn't done enough researchs. This is by the way also why I not watch the TV show Merlin Merlin as young boy same age as Arthus no way.... oh and the kiss at the end? well it get a usually thing for a end scene when womens was involved *G* yeah Sinbad is a womenizer. and? he isn't married, he isn't at a realatinship... and he is a men... a captain .... so at least they(storywriters) needed to borrow the cliche of a ladykiller captain...

well I just sayed it may fits better in the 1st season since Maeve is a celt and the whole wicca / old religion is celt.
but okay sure celts was also everywhere and it#s culturs. so maybe just do more researchs at least they just needed to read one book, one book few wiccan friends of mine tell it's their bible... "The mist of avalon" of Marion Zimmer Bradley. This lady knowed how to do researchs.

I actually love the scond better for it's darker side somehow. but he had also few in 1st Cassandra, Talia, Rumina well yeah that's it. as I told complete two diffrent seasons some also used to say complete diffrent shows.

Or well, at least with Cassandra and Talia it was different. Because in both cases it was the girl who was after Sinbad while he acted even somewhat shy or embarrassed around them. And with Rumina there was only one time when he looked at her with some kind of lust(?) in his gaze and that was when she did the belly dance for him. In S2 however he had no troubles kissing the ladies of the week, and this right infront of Bryn who obviously had a crush on him. Poor thing.

I agree, in the Village Vanishes and the Eye of Kratos the girls kissed him, he looked surprised and he looked guilty towards Maeve, he had realized probably her feelings for him, but he did not care about the feelings of Bryn in these situations. He kissed Rumina two times, in one case he tried to prevent her in the usage of dangerous spell, the second was a little different, but he was still decribed as the caring man who liked one woman only.

BUt then still 1 and 2. season are complete diffrent seasons in my eye. if this change is good or bad.... some will say bad some will say good. as I told I loved the second better. also when I'm a Maeve fan and missed her very much at the 2nd. there are more action in the 2nd. more sword fights which I love, more horses (thank you Jacq after her ride they used more horses) and sinbads more pirate looking outfit fits him very well ;D sure some of the girls got on my nerves.... at most Shirez... but at least there is the saying "on each port.." but I loved Firout little speech at .. how is the episde called with Velda... this speech when they walks to velda no time ...
