He gave her a weak smile at that and turned to look after her when she left, being entirely grateful that she let the matter rest for now and didn´t ask any further questions. Once they had reached Basra he guessed they would be busy again which was a good thing because that would serve as a distraction from all those thoughts that had seemed to press him down onto the planks of this very ship for the last few days. He was starting to feel trapped. All the better that Bryn did not insist on another question and answer game.
When he saw her stride off, something else entered his head. She wanted to meet Caipra and he was wondering why. Probably because she wanted to learn more about her powers which was only natural. The thought of meeting Dim Dim´s wife was somewhat discomforting and he wasn´t really sure why that was so. He could let her go alone or send someone else from the crew there, but then again he was almost sure that more than Bryn probably wanted to go and also that it would not really be decent behaviour to avoid someone from the past like that. Caipra sure would ask question and he dreaded that.

Firouz was silent the whole time, just looking back and forth at Bryn and Sinbad, wondering if he should cut in or not. Now that Bryn had left, he thought this was a good time to step in. "Rumina? She's worried about Rumina? I have heard that name in over a year. Completely forgot about her."

Sinbad tossed another look at Bryn before he turned to give his friend a glance. "Yeah." he said. "there are quite some names coming up again these days, aren´t there?" He had not forgotten about Rumina. Not because he would have been worried for her to attack them or sheme against them once more, but rather because he was concerned the black sorceress could have turned all her attention towards another aim. One that she knew would hurt him more than her attempts to get hold of Sinbad himself.

Firouz thought about it. "Well, forget about it for now. We have to prepare for port. We can worry about Rumina later." He looks into the Magnascope. "I have a clear vision of the port."

Firouz had probably no idea how glad his captain was for those words that demanded a change of focus. His reply therefore was a smirk that bore gratefulness, before he looked out towards the port. “Looking good.” he agreed. “I will take over the tiller in a moment and bring us in. Is there anything else you see? Anything that could mean danger for us?”

Firouz looked at Sinbad and smiled. Then he took another look in the Magnascope before turning back to his friend. "Nope. It looks all clear. As long as we head straight and avoid that river delta to the east then we should be fine."

Sinbad nodded, giving his friend a friendly pat on the back. “Good.” He said. “Still we should keep our eyes open later.” He looked towards the tiller, thinking that it was time to take over and send the lad that was stirring the Nomad right now down below so he could grab a bite to eat. “I´ll bring us in.” he told Firouz. “If you like you can go and have breakfast. If the others left any of it that is.”

Firouz looked at his friend and captain and smiled. "No, no thanks. I am not hungry. I will keep you company."
