I have no doubt that Sinbad was upset by the disappearance of Maeve as well, but it was so quick that he did not have the opportunity to say something to her (and we can not forget that there was a cut between the scene when Maeve disappeared and the scene where brothers were going through the village, we can assume that a few hours passed between them and he could be upset for some time) and he was in shock for a moment, contrary to Doubar who was disappearing for a few minutes and Sinbad was able to react to this situation in a different way. We can notice for example that Firouz also did not get a big reaction from his friends when he disappeared, it was even quicker than in the case of Maeve, contrary to this, Rongar was disappearing for a longer time and we had to opportunity to see the reaction of his friends (and I have no doubt, that the rest was shocked the disappearance of both). I would be curious to see Maeve as the last remaining person similarly and how this farewell would look, if they revealed their mutual feelings, or maybe only one of them and in this case who of them it would be? I believe that they would share reveal their mutual feelings in a certain scale at least, they did not have to get a next opportunity for this.

Do you think that the order of "sucking" people was completely random or Vorgon went from the weakest people (whom the father of Cassandra could be, he was one of the first victims, does not he?) to the strongest (Doubar), with the exception of cases when someone exhausted himself by manual work (Rongar) or by usage of magic (Maeve) too early?

It's very possible! Logical too, in a way, by this, I mean, older people back then died all the time due to old age, sickness, ect....most people wouldn't have thought twice about it. It was the quickness of the deaths that made things questionable.

By the way, it was mentioned in this episode how Vorgon got to the Dim Dym things?
And I found something interesting in the official description of this episode which I would want to ask. It was written there that the crew discovered the bound when Firouz touched this teaching stone and he had vision of the Dim Dym's teaching him although he never was his student. But in our dubbing was not any mention of something like this. Is it a mistake of our dubbing or a mistake in the official description?

Bad description, I'd say. In English, Firouz never touched the teaching stone and there was no vision of Dim Dim from what I remember.

When Sinbad talked with Maeve about his mistakes (when she blamed herself from the loss of Dermott), he mentioned the loss of Dim Dym and how he misses friends which could be alive if he decided differently as the captain. I know that such people must have been more, but it would not be cool if he mentioned the loss of Mustapha in this scene? Do you think that it could be a possible reference to him? And do you think that people who vanished were still able to realize themselves, communicate among themselves or watch the events in the real world? Or they were like ghosts unable to do or realize something? And especially those who disappeared very quickly and suddenly (like Firouz and some villagers) maybe realized that they were taken over by the curse as the others after their reappearance only? Unless Sinbad had managed to indeed end his own life despite the Vorgon being keen on not letting that happen, there would hardly have been anything else to do. Even if he managed it, it would not stop Vorgon. He probably could return a empty body of a different crewmember (I guess that Doubar would be the most probable choice) and use it as a vessel for himself. He probably did the same thing with Milasco (poor Milasco, I hope that he got dignified funeral at least) and he could do it with Sinbad as well. Or maybe he was able to suck the life's strength without disappearing of a body when there was the last person only in a place.

We speculated if Maeve was able to communicate with animals as Bryn and now I found in this episode the proof that she is. She was talking with this squirell after the dissapearance of Dermott and thanks to her, she realized that Vorgon had to be behind this spell.
I never realized that it was like this because our dubbing was inaccurate in this case (and in this episode a lot of). When Maeve mentioned that the strange beast was running among the walls of the decomposed village, it looked that the crew was the wittness of this in our dubbing (the Czech language), but it was the squirell (which makes sense, the crew was there during the day - Vorgon was already in Milasco's body in the village when the crew arrived to the island) as Vorgon sucked only people, not animals.
For the interest, in our dubbing of this episode were next inaccuracies, some relatively minor, different were more important.
These were more important:
Czech language
It was mentioned that Milasco was a merchant (nothing about it in the original) and was not clearly said that he is a inhabitant of the village. I always thought that he visited the island only because of his trades and was imprisoned in the village only accidentally (I could realize that I was wrong as he had a house in the village and if he arrived to this island for trade, he would have a means of transport to get away).
In Czech dubbing, it was said that the attack of branches was aimed to Milasco, but in the original Sinbad referred to Maeve as the target.
The mentioned scene with the talk between Maeve and Sinbad where is explained how they found about Vorgon.
There were some minor mistakes as well - for example Belkor proclaimed in the original that Milasco visited the east village last week, in our dubbing it was last month. Or when they did not manage to get the barrell over the wall, Cassandra mentioned that three people vanished during the last hour in the original, in the Czech dubbing it was only one person.
I am writing it only because I never realized how different was the translation in our language different from the original. I like this episode to pieces and these differences did not influence the meaning dramatically (except this scene with the squirell, it was a little confusing for me) so I never noticed it.

One question, when they decided sent Dermott to test the height of the wall, what could happen if he managed it, what do you think? Maybe he could bring the help from the board of Nomad and prevent them in crossing the barrier when the wall started. The episode could maybe develop differently, if Dermott overcame it.
