and aw about Gunnar and type of drink ,, sorry but you've to excuse me i don't know the drink types ,, all i know the wine is dark red and made from grape,, and i guess got by the rich ones ,,, don't know about the last info, but i guess that's why you think so because i guess ale is not expensive as it was used by the pirates in POC if i'm not mistaken but wine used by noblemen ,,, i'm not sure but if so i still can't see why Gunnar preferred the ale over wine

Still, the pattern is unmistakable:women - women (no comment on that one ;D )
food - wine (i.e. something to eat or drink)
fire - song (i.e. some entertainment)

Nooooooooooooo.... Argh!! I was half way through the new ep and then the connection suddenly died. Aaaaaaah! >.<

But what I saw so far I definitely loved. The plot seems pretty pointless imo but that doesn't stop the ep from being enjoyable still.
Haha, and I just gotta say it, although Anwar is cute my favourite HAS to remain Gunnar. LOL! Love that guy. ;D
Seriously though, him and Anwar, that's just like Firouz and Doubar. The same thing, really. They do like each other, but at times Doubs/Gunnar just cannot take Firouz/Anwar seriously. Haha. xD
And Anwar's getting more and more like Firouz if you ask me. But I'll shut up now before I give away all the little goodie-moments of this ep. ;D

If I can find a link that shows the whole ep I'll share it. That is, unless Kal isn't quicker than me with that one. ^^

alex: That's true indeed. And I'm actually rather glad for that. I've really grown to like this show, and I hope they'll keep up the good work (and get a second season... >_> ).

@teti: Haha, actually I'm not much of an alcohol person either. But dunno, if I hear Norsemen I think of ale rather than wine. I somehow connect wine with France or Italy and yes, high noblemen but maybe I'm wrong there. So there's no particular reason why I think Gunnar to be more of an ale-person, it's just a feeling, really. ;D

Doubar: Haha, Anwar also reminds me so much of Firouz! he is probably my favourite male charactor, my favorite female is Rhina.
I found this episode interesting. in the end of the episode they gained a new crewmember, But how and who it is will have to remain a mystery until you watch the rest of the episode.

Haha, I guess I know who that new crew member is. xD I have no clue though just why that person will join them... Hope I can catch up on the rest of the ep tomorrow or tonight.
Aww, and seems Anwar's got many fans amongst us. That's great. I must confess though that I still don't care much about Rhina. I don't know if in the rest of the current ep there will be some development on her side, but till now she's rather ... don't know how to say it. She's not as well defined and developed like the others. By now the guys have all found their position, each has got sort of a function within the group. Only Rhina doesn't. I really hope she'll develop further. Would be such a pity if she fell behind.

Nice episode indeed. Finally we get to meet this new character, I saw a picture of her once, and I curious to know more about her.
She seems interesting, but I still want Nala back!

Anwar stays one of my favourite for sure, but I start to really like Sinbad too.
He starts to have this sense of adventures we all like with this character. ;D

And true. Telling of what little I already saw of that character, she seems to be pretty interesting. Still I, too, hope Nala's back soon.

Haha, and ditto what you said about Sinbad. ;D In fact all the guys are cool. I really loved the beginning of that ep. LOL! First Gunnar's complaint that this wasn't chicken but rat, and then Cook's attempted self-defence of saying that it wasn't rat... before he admits it's not chicken either. Bwahaha, I so do NOT want to know what it was really. xD xD xD xD

well guys i watched it .... mmm this time i don't know the episode events didn't convince me i think there were other ep much better than it,,,,
BUT i see the new one is a real addition,,, don't know but i felt interested in her,,,,, sometimes i like her and other times i felt she was over expressing,,,,, however generally i like her
and i guess now that Sinbad himself had turned our thoughts Doubie he saw himself loving her ,,,, and nobody can blame her, i mean look to her skills and self confidence ,,,, but yeah i agree with you guys i wish Nala come back again

again the events .... seemed to be unrealistic ,,, those of the story itself, and also that Taryn sent her to bring Sinbad to her ,,,,, it is not her style of working guys,,,, also the king/priest decisions weren't reasonable ....... to go hide in same place where he saw himself killed,,,,,,, and trust the one he already know him very well even better than the young one do to himself,,, he raised him up and certain there is no hope of him ,,,,, and even so why he will take his son with him if he himself the one who should been hiding not the son,,,,
so unrealistic,,,,,,, and when did Sinbad wrote this message while he was supposed to be unconscious and after just regaining it he fought the girl and get out of the place without a chance to write it,,,,
don't know but i prefer the previous episodes over this one and hope the next will be in their level not like this one

I agree, this ep lacked a good plot. The story was kinda pointless and aye, some of the characters' desicions not very sensible. >_> Although it didn't bother me that the priest went to hide in the maze. Just reminded me of what Oogway said in Kung Fu Panda:

One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it.

So in that regard I didn't much mind it. But I have to admit I stared at the screen questioningly when the priest announced poison to be the safest way. Lol. I read a lovely review on the ep and they were pretty amused about that as well. They called that move "the slave to the plot" (which is pretty fitting imo xP ). ;D

Anyway. Why I still like the ep is because of the great moments at the beginning. The scene at the ship with Cook and Gunnar, haha and Gunnar's way of making sure Riff (or what his name was) is speaking the truth. Ehehehe, this smug look on the Viking's face when Rhina says "You enjoyed that!". That was priceless. ;D And Anwar being all excited about solving the puzzle. Those were all little goodies which make me like the ep still.

But I definitely agree with you: I hope the plot of the next ones will be better and more sensible again.

Though I must admit I didn't find it weird. It was rather lovely actually. Though I cannot make the connection to her earlier plan. I guess we're gonna find out eventually.

It wasn't her role that I found weird. But it's everything else in the scene, in particulary the other characters... ;D

I think it's lovely too, I can't wait to know more about her story.
