It was very nice.
The warm tones and she has a certain innocence to her. She doesn't appear to be old at all, but I think that's the style of the drawing instead of her true age, right?

Aww, thanx, Firouz, for having had a look on her. The innocence is indeed of high importance - there's a reason why she was chosen to be the high priestess after all (though I'm not sure if I'm gonna explain it in detail in the fic).  And the age is indeed real: she's just a young girl - about only 14 of age. So your impression was correct (and in fact I'm happy that it comes across ). |

Awwww, thanx for your reviews, guys!!!! Mala: Indeed. It's a bit similar to how you had Sinbad change, isn't it? I guess my idea really is a different one though. In my universe it's Maeve alone who gets him back on track so to say. I left hints in "Things do change" and "Till we meet again" and will explain it all in the fic that I've been working on for ages (literally! *sigh*). It's a storyline I had thought up years ago and which for some reason I felt like taking up again that day. And as for Sinbad focusing more on himself in this shot: well, I guess he'd have his moments where he mainly worries about what he did to Maeve, and others where he's more afraid of who he has become in general. This one focused on the latter.  But, yeah, I guess in general I got the problem that I thought up the plot of this whole thing several years ago, and naive litttle me back then was convinced that Maeve could easily forgive him as she knows how deeply he had hurt, and that her forgiveness would sort of redeem Sinbad *pats younger self's head*. I definitely will have to make this be more mature though I will most likely keep the general idea of this. @kriss: Wow, really? To be honest, personally, I didn't have the feeling it was deep at all.  It was just some drabble that I came up with after feeling better. But good to know you feel it is like this. And amazing to hear that you even had to read it several times to detect everything that's there. Thanx for r&r! @sinbad: Lol. Thanx! ;D The graphic's just like a little promo shot for the fic though, but thanx anyway! I wasn't too proud of the graphic as well, so it's good to know you like it. It's great either way. Each of us would prefer the easy forgiving Maeve, but we all know she'll burn his arse for a good long time before she forgives him. Oh and I answered your review in my fic's thread! |

Weeelll, some of my older works I finally put online. It was my attempt of writing about Maeve's return and actually focusing on her and Sinbad (in my other stories I only mentioned it and focused more on Bryn's view on the whole thing).
