@doubar,
I'm very happy you think so! It was one of the main reasons why I took so long with this one. I wanted to try and get it just right, and I'm glad I was able to.
Well, I did try awful hard to pull in the tiny things no one really thought about again and tie it into this one...Harpy-Maeve, the long list of women, Scratches devil tendancies, Rumina's love for her father, Turok's thirst for revenge...Caipra's 'knowing' and all that...I have constantly told other authors that I've r&r for that its the little details that make a good epic flow well for the reader, and I was simply trying to follow my own critisims after all, LOL!
Well, DimDim DID teach them both and, and I have to admit something here...when AOS was first set to begin season 2 (when they still thought Maeve/Jackie was going to be there) she was supposed to stay in Basra to get more tutoring/teaching from Caipra for 6 episodes, so I linked that into Maeve and Caipra's relationship. Though, I found it odd that for all the time Maeve studied with DimDim on the Isle of Dawn, Caipra never made her way there no he to her in Basra....(Shrugs)
I am too, I like good intergration fics too. Yes, her father, Arthur, King Arthur ;D , married Geneiveve NOT Guinevere, but Geneiveve IS Guin's sister! LOL Arthur is decsended of a LONG line of magics and Geneiveve is too.
It might be cliched, but Bryn's magic has always seemed to me more Earthly more locked into the elements that effect the earth itself. Maeve was always Fire and all the characteristics that belong to it. Bryn, I have always seen, was more Earthly so she's going to be an Earth adept/magical sorceress.
I think I'll have a surprise or two in store which will carry into the sequal...that is if I can spin it right....
Wow, I knew you liked it but one of the best AoS out there! WOW!!
I'm overwhelmed...I simply wrote them as I saw them; I simply had the idea to write what wasn't necessarilly written or said in the actual series.
I hope I can make it as intriguing and as good as this one!!
Oh, I can well see that you spent a lot of time with writing it. Everthing is so well balanced and so vividly told that I could not imagine one can write something like that down so easily. And your sure enough did neither overdo it, nor did you do it not well enough.

Hum, that's a very interesting thought indeed! I never had it I got to admit. I always thought he'd not ponder about this anymore (I mean the harpy-Maeve itself). But I suppose you're right: it could easily have somewhat traumatized him.

Oh, indeed. And mainly in the AoS verse everyone's got their role. And personally I like a lot the idea of Maeve & Sinbad being like children to Caipra and DimDim. So, yeah, I'm happy that this found the way into your plans!

Whic is very cool! I really have grown to like Bryn and am happy when I read stories where she gets integrated into everything. Ooh, and you're perfectly right: Bryn grew up with the same magic as Maeve did.

I sure did; Waiting patiently.

*hugs back* You're most welcome, dear! Each and every chapter was wroth the r&r!!! And like I said, for me this is one of the best AoS fics out there! It is extremely well written, holds a fantastic plot and gives each and every crew member a new depth! And that is an amazing mixture!
OMG, and I would LOVE to read a new story!!!!! And it would then be about Bryn regaining her memories you say? Oh wow, that sounds so very intriguing!!!! I really hope you'll be able to write it down. And I'll happy wait till June then.
