Doubar,  I meant for it to be Maeve's POV not Doubar's. But I'm glad you liked it. I actually went back when I read the review and changed it to what I had originally thought it was. Well, Sinbad's in a sweet, happy mood so...  Eh, nope! Remember Dermott is still stuck on Eryn and Bryn doesn't have any memory back yet. They are second cousins after all. But don't worry...I think you'll like my surprise in The Return of Bryn...one I get around to typing it. Well, I do like things to be known, like the back story, so that people aren't too lost.  I will! Thanks for reading and reviewing time and again! And thanks for all the help you gave me during it too! |

In any case I love those lines. ;D Hehe, and I may point out that I do like Sinbad being in a sweet and happy mood! ;D Ah, stupid question I know, but... Eryn... that's the old name for Ireland, isn't it? So how comes he's still stuck there when he's with the crew? But maybe I just misunderstood, or missed a detail. In any case: hah, right, they're second cousins. xD Oooooooh, and you know I do love surprises!!!!!! ;D ;D Really, I SO hope you get around to writing The Return of Bryn. To be honest, I can't wait for that story to come!!!!!! *crosses fingers your muse will be one your side* Oh, and good thing about the back ground story. Especially when giving things such a unique background it's indeeda good idea to explain the same one well.  Awww, you're most welcome!!!! It was nothing but my pleasure to accompany throughout this story. It truly belongs to the best ones out there, and I had fun reading and reviewing each part. ((HUGS)) Eryn is the old way to spell the traditional/cultural name for Ireland. But in my case, in my story, Eryn is a young woman who fell in love with Dermott and he in love with her. It'll be explained better in the Return of Bryn, but she is the woman he loved and planned to marry. Then Rumina happened and he was turned into a hawk. With him as a hawk, he couldn't marry her, but she promised to wait. An extra incentive is the fact that after he and Maeve left, Eryn found out she was pregnant! So, she has stayed with Tristan and Isolde and birthed a child. I just don't know if it'll be a girl or a boy. ;D Dermott's in for a surprise when he gets home!! LOL |

*hugs back* Awww, I see. Sorry for getting confused there! I guess I should read the whole story once more, eh, so that I do not miss on all the details?  And what a sweet thing! So Dermott has his lady back in Britain? Oh gosh, and that one gave birth to a child? My, yes, the lad definitely is in for a big surprise!!!! ;D ;D Really can't wait for that story to be written (have to repeat that over and over again ;D ), and look forward to the surprise you have for me there. ;D |

r&r. Ooooh, such an interesting start that is! Who is this 'Rosy' really? Maeve seems to have no doubts about her, but why would Sinbad have a bad feeling about her if all was well? What will await them back in Britain? And what's with Bryn's marriage? Is she really to marry a random guy (however important he might be), or did she love that man? I have the feeling this is going to be a truly exciting story and I cannot wait for the first chapter to be up.

Thank you! I'm hoping to sart strong and end strong too! LOL You'll have to wait and see! Well, one's right and the other's wrong! But who?  That's for me to know and you to find out! Magic and mystery! Nah, this I can tell you without any problems! She love(s) the guy! And luckily, he still loves her! Okay, so I've read both fics (Return of Maeve, then Return of Bryn Prologue). I must say the first was very interesting, I loved the idea of sending each of the crew facing their own weaknesses and their grief. I loved how each and everyone one of them succeeded to fight against their own darkness. This puzzled me, because except for the Sacrifice, I didn’t know DimDim contacted Bryn in S2 ! How you describe Sinbad’s feelings and desire to see Maeve again, in the first chapters of Return of Maeve, was amazing. Doubar feeling both frustrated and helpless before his brother’s pain. How Sinbad acknowledge all Doubar has given and sacrificed for him. I couldn’t agree more with your interpretation, I think it totally matches both brothers and couldn’t sound more realistic. I couldn't resist asking you if you meant to say most of the time, when he spent the night with a woman, he wouldn't really do anything but chat or cuddle, etc. But if this is indeed what you meant, it is exactly how I envisioned things. In my POV, he couldn’t confide in his brother or friends, so he would sometimes need someone who was not close to him to console him. And it looked as though he could confide easily into strangers, for example, what he told Turan about raising a family (with Maeve), or when told Mala how he felt toward Maeve ... he had never told anyone of his crew about this ! Dermott’s challenge : We learn he had a fiancée he loved dearly. Right after, in Maeve's challenge, you mention that, for many other reasons, Maeve didn't have time for men/love matters. I don't know if you intended to tell us this, but reading both their stories, I felt guilt (which is also the focus theme of your fic) could be the underlying, yet main reason why she never fully opened her heart to Sinbad. To me, it sounded like Maeve couldn’t allow herself to because she felt she didn't deserve to until she succeeded to transform Dermott back into a man. Just like she was thinking, ''he had lost his beloved fiancée because of me, I can't just live a romantic relationship with him witnessing it, as he had suffered so much already'' ... It felt too unfair ? Sinbad’s challenge waas particularly interesting when you show how each of the crew CHOSE to stay with him, even if it meant leaving loved ones or other life possibilities behind them. That was very clever of you ! I never really noticed it until now, but now I couldn’t agree more on your interpretation. *grins* I LOVE this sentence. Return of Bryn : i feel there’s a disappointed and angry pretendant of Maeve’s that could get in the way. I'm not sure, but since you said in Return of Maeve that the men in her family were proud of her because she attracted many men, they are a royal family, etc. When she said they were going to kill her, many possibilities came in mind: maybe the fact she left her duty as a woman (marriage) when she went to study with DimDim, or the fact she has fallen in love with a sailor (not of proper status for marriage), or the fact she had been bethroted already could be an issue. As for Roslyn ... I don't know why, but I have the feeling she will try to seduce / trick Sinbad  |
