Don't worry Doubar, I can perfectly see the lines You should finish them, You have got some nice ideas about poses and subjects. I like especially the Lady's eyes in the first drawing. They look so alien and "elvish". She reminds me of some Brian Froud's fairies . And the last one, the angel holding the light, it would look wonderful once you'll color it ps. I always intensify the colors too. Scanners are annoying sometimes

;D Believe me Derm, if I would add colour to it I'd ruin everything. xD

Seems like either Doubar is having a problem with his images or is it just this site. However, since Doubar seems to be the only person having problems with his images, I figure it is not the site. Anyway, I like you pictures black and white. You can add more contract with the shading. Sometimes adding color makes it look cartoonish, unless you are very good with adding color. As for the one with the angel holding the light, I would just color the light and maybe darkly color the rest of the picture. The light seems like the part which needs to stand out most.

@firouz: Really? Problems with the images? I mean it wouldn't really surprise me as I'm using a free service where you needn't create an account but I didn't notice any problems till now. What sort of failure did you notice, Firouz? And about the pics: Thanx to both of you for your kind words. Am glad you like them. Now about the colour: hmmm, aye, only colouring parts of a pic can sometimes be more effective than colouring the whole thing but guess as I really, really suck at adding colours afterwards I'll simply leave them the way they are. I'd really get mad at myself for ruining especially the angel one. And am not skilled enough to use some software and try the whole thing on PC...

At one point, your pictures were not uploading. But it seems fine now. Your pictures are up. So I theorize that either it is this site or, more likely, the service you are using was doing maintenance and your in ages were temporarily off line.

Oops, I meant "images" not "in ages."

Thanx for reporting, Firouz. If problems like this should occur more frequently then please tell me. I can as well use some other service. But as long as it works, I'll stay with this one.

Just for your knowledge, one happened about 1 hour ago, but everything seems fine now. Oh, and for coloring, you could always make a xerox copy and color the copy. That way you would have the original in black-and-white and can make another copy if you mess up. I prefer pastels over crayons. They are easier to blend. Just don’t press too hard. A small amount of pastel gives a lot of color. Also make sure not to smudge pastels. They don’t stay on paper like crayons. Once done, leave the picture face up because the pastel could trickle down the picture if let standing up.

Hm, thanx for the tip Firouz. I could indeed try that ... And about the pics ... well, should maybe think about really using a new service then...

Which one do you use, Doubar? Imagebanana? I´ve not had any problems viewing your pictures, but if you think it´s the service, try photobucket.com

Yeah, it's imagebanana. Haven't had any problems so far (am using it with some other things, too) and haven't noticed anything when being online, too. But as Firouz is reporting about several times when my pics didn't load up I might think about moving. And will keep photobucket in mind, thanx.

Imagebanana? Somehow gets a mental picture of the monkey talking to his banana as if it is a cell phone. That was a Verizon commercial. “Do you here me now? Good.”
But hope you can fix the problem, Doubar. And good luck on the pictures.
