Uh, she knows?  Poor, poor Sinbad ... as if going through his pain wasn't bad enough he'll soon have a mad sorceress at his toes. Although, if she really did watch them she should also know just how much he suffered.  Well, you're right though, Maeve: one thing at a time. First we have to get you back.  |

Yeah, she knows. I think it was mentioned in the Bottle thread that she had been watching the crew for quite a while but gave up after a time because it became too hard to watch them.
Oh and he kinds deserves it. *slaps Sinbad* Or... well... partly *pats Sinbad´s head*

Hum, it's been quite some time since I last read the bottle-post (although I really, really love that one!  ). Sometimes such things get blurred with stories I have read but since for the rpg I only have to keep in mind what my characters know it'll be okay I think.  Oh, and, yeah ... he deserves it. |

Eh! This tread is developing in a very interesting way. 1 Maeve being aware of Sinbad’s many flirts is quite interesting, it would not be easy for the poor captain at the beginning, but I’m dying to see/read them bickering again. I hope you’ll be back soon sister 2 The Demon Hunter idea was in the outline too right? I don’t know if it’s worse not having Maeve in the story at all, or the eventuality of this last option. > _< I think that this idea must be placed in the contest of when the outiline came out. It has been almost ten years ago, and Ed Naha planned this plot according to want was going to be season 3. Jackie wasn’t coming back, and they had this unfinished plotline about Maeve which linked back to so many issues, and they couldn’t go on in leaving them behind like in season 2, the fan were already pissed off. (gave a look at this link: www.network54.com/Forum/4824/message/1031065873/Ok%2C+here+goes... ) So, the demon hunter, could have been played by a stand in, (maybe wearing a mask), in this way Maeve’s character could have still be part of the show. Other alternatives could have been her death (heresy  ), or casting another actress for her role  . Just imagine that she hadn’t been saved by Dim Dim right after “The Sacrifice”, for example, considering that she was fighting with Rumina she could have been kidnapped by Turok, who brought her to the dark side. Just like what happened to Sinbad during season 2. It could have been interesting and angsty to see the captain struggling and trying to save her bringing her back to the light side. But as I said before, it has been ten years ago, and I've often wondered if Ed Naha changed his mind about his own story now. And if he’d have added or changed some things (after all the Doubar/Bryn story wasn’t in the outline), he never spoke again to the fandom since then  . If a finale movie will ever be made, will he really stay faithful to the outline? (for certain things I hope so, I can’t imagine Bryn not being Rumi’s little sister after all this time), or he’ll try to change everything to surprise us?? I’d really like a lot if he decided to give us another interview, I will surely ask him how would have been season 2 if he hadn’t been obliged to make it darker and sexier. If I remember correctly he created Bryn only because Maeve left, so I’d also ask, how many and which new characters he was going to introduce... the last one had been Mala. And she was great.  |

Well, Maeve's reactions aside, which I'm sure will be great, I remember an interview with Jackie and Zen (I believe) in which she said there was a storyline, predicted to be in S2 early on: a sorcerer or sorceress (Rumina or Turok-he hadn't decided) that would cast a spell on Maeve to make her relive her worst memories.
They would go to Caipra and she would cast a spell to send one person (Sinbad) into her dreams to relive her worst memories...
1. Family being killed
2. Dermott being turned into a hawk
3. Ect...
And he'd have to fight his way to her and bring her out thereby revealing the truth about Dermott and bring the 2 closer together as friends and lovers-to-be in future episodes/seasons.
This interview also inspired a writer to write a fic which most people, if they are religous readers, to have found and read AKA
"A Sorceress and Her Hawk"
and the sequal
"When We Were Thieves"

I read about that somewhere, with Sinbad having to save Maeve and getting into her memories. That sure would´ve been a great plot. |

@sinbad/Rongar I think you meant that interview www.geocities.com/maevesinbad/interview.html(...) and there was talk once of an episode where Maeve is attacked by a demon and Sinbad has to rescue her by using magic and going into her dreams and while there he witnesses her past and what made her the way she is and the whole relationship with Dermott, etc... I would have loved to have done that episode, wish they had gotten it written. |

Well, I can only give you one as it's the only one still on the net. The Author shut down her website a couple of years ago and it's no longer there. I got the story off another person from the Steam Forum. I have it saved on my laptop though. I'll send it to you (or anyone else) through e-mail, PM here, or even post it here if you want/yall want.
