Indeed, it's terrible... They wanted to have fun, have been waiting for the premiere for months...

Aye, it's horrible just to think about it... Exactly... because you are so aware of the fact that it could happen to you...

It's all over the news. I heard about it at work this morning.. they were lacking a lot of details but still..
I'd hate to be on the hazmat team tho knowing one wrong move by anyone on the team means certain death for everyone.
Admittedly had he pulled that stunt in Los Angeles he woulda been killed himself after the first two shots.

Uhm, no I must admit I didn't know about that problem. But it's quite an interesting fact that they discovered now. Really hope that a solution can be found peacefully.

Here you are: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Territorial_disputes_in_the_South_China_SeaMaybe you know but don't know what I'm talking about. It's really big and yes it's the global problem. The world are worrying that the conflict can become a war but trust me it won't happen that soon. None of the countries involved dare to make a move first (including China). With all what I've been seeing over last months I can say they just simply don't dare to attack each other but want to threaten the others. But solving it in peace is not something I expect. It's impossible. There will be a war but not now and not in next few years.

Hum, in comparison with the important issue Ban informed us about I don't know if the following is indeed a world news, but I was really sad to hear that Michael Clarke Duncan passed away some days ago. The Green Mile touched me deeply and much of that is due to him and his acting. He was outstanding, and his performance really brought tears to my eyes back then. @ban: Thanx for the link honey. It really is informative. Although I really wish there was a peaceful solution to all this.

Yeah it really sucks that he's gone just like that. On a federal holiday no less. He seemed like a genuinely sweet guy. Jay Leno used to harass him for wearing frilly shirts on the show XP.
I've also heard that during the filming of the Planet of the Apes remake, with him dressed up in that gorilla getup, he'd hurt his leg and they needed to get him to a hospital to find out if it was broken. They didn't have time to take the costume off so they wheeled him into a hospital, in a wheelchair, in that costume. Lol the staff completely spazed out! They thought he was real! Lol He found it so funny he started acting the part.
Can you imagine the sight? Lol
Took the crew hours to convince the hospital staff that it was only a costume for a movie. The nurses were still nervous the whole time thry were Xraying his leg tho lol.
Sad to lose such a funny and nice guy. not many in Hollywood like that these days.

Oh dear, I hadn't heard of that story before, no. Haha, that must have been quite a sight with him still being stuck in that costume. Bless! xD But yeah, he seems to have been a genuinely nice guy, and so much fun to be around. So sad that he had to go, and at such young age, too.

I have no thing to say. Really, I'm not angry because the attackers now are fishermans (not the security forces as last year). They're just normal people and I don't want our security forces attack them for any reason. It's the inhuman behavior. But I'm very disappointed. *sighs* After all things we have been trying to keep the peace, now, I'm really tired and wish the war would happen soon. There is no way to solve the problem in peace, no way.

Dear Ban, I am so sorry about these developments and can well understand that your country must be tired. It is indeed no way to treat others, and it's a dangerous behaviour, too. But war I think is never a good solution. It is one, yes, but all it can bring is pain, loss and anger. Thus I really hope so much there can be a peaceful solution - even though I am aware that mankind does not seem to be born for peace. *sigh*

So it appears that it was a 20 year old who shot his own mother and 26 people at the Primary School in Connecticut - most of which were children. They seem to discuss the possibility that he had Asberger's Syndrome - which would come as a surprise to me. Everything I knew about this syndrome so far never mentioned violence or such kind of behaviour. *** And in Egypt the first half of the voting took place today. The second one will follow next Saturday. I just hope everything will turn out be okay.
