That alternate season II was so cool!!! I read it a long time ago and I simply adored the new dynamic Mustapha brought to crew!!

I think I read a little bit. I thought the Mustapha they brought back was a little too aggressive and arrogant.

I remember slightly Merlin & Calvin alternate season, I stopped to read it when they went on hiatus, and never continued . But I liked the season-1-like-atmosphere, if Maeve hadn't left, maybe the show would have been like that. I must start again this one, but first I want to finish "Long Journay home" @sinbad I'm amazed, you are writing a great story (I'm still at chapter 13 - going to read 14) I'm fond of angsty plots if they are logical and well written, like in this case. But what impress me the most is your development of one of the things that disappoint me the most in season 2. Sinbad didn't search for Maeve for a whole year. But here, for the first time he must do something for her. If he want her back, he must work hard and grow up as a character. I'm really looking forward for what is going to happen.

Aw, thank you Derm That means who have half of the chapters still ahead of you, heh ;D I hope I will manage to update during the Easter holidays. Right now exam preparation takes up a lot of time, but that´s just for another month. Yeah, that´s seriously one of the big plot holes there, we see the attempts to find her in the first and last episode and there he is really head over heels into running off and searching for her, but other than that, he doesn´t. It´s difficult to explain that, and I´ve thought a whole lot about it also as a player for the character on here. My explanation is that there were things that were not shown on the show, moments were he was penseive and wondering what he could do etc. but that other than that he somehow forced himself to accept what Dim Dim had told him, that she was safe and that things started happening left right and centre that got him into this I-got-to-help everyone mood where he was forced to partly abandon the search for the moment. However, that was just the wrong thing for him to do because he has not been the same without her any more and that feeling of I-can´t-do-anything and I-miss-her, lead to the change we´ve seen on the show.

Sorry Dermott, but I had to laugh. You said finish Long Journey Home. Well the story is far from finished. And who knows how much Sinbad will go on and on about what the main character has in his head. But yes, love the suspense, too. @sinbad: That is okay. My finals are coming up in a month and I really haven't found time to visit fanfiction.net. I will also probably postpone my story. Hopefully I can read the update and review Maeve's story. Great stuff.

And who knows how much Sinbad will go on and on about what the main character has in his head. *tocs on Sinbad´s head* *gets an annoyed look from Sinbad* Despite his looks he´s got a rather complex mind, that one.

Aren't you supposed to say: "Despite his looks he's quite intelligent."

Don't aggravate inner Sinbad. He may drive you crazy. I know, I have a little, tiny person telling me what to do. He is up here *points to his head.*

Sorry Dermott, but I had to laugh. You said finish Long Journey Home. Well the story is far from finished. I don't see why , it is obvious that the plot is in progress, it is said on ff.net. I was just referring to the episodes uploaded so far, considering that I'm still in the middle of the story.

Hihi. Firouz laughed because you wrote something about first finish reading "Long story home" before you read something else ... and, well, Nili might just entertain us some more months with the story (I hope she does! I absolutely love it! ;D ). That's what Firouz found to be funny somehow.

Yes, I know But I usually read a long fiction at a time . ;D, and I remember that M&C alternate season chapters were particularly long. Or maybe it's me that I'm too slow ;D ;D.
