Thoughts about the story

UGH! SEXY! I WILL SHOW YOU SEXY, YOU PERVERT! *tries to strangle Sinbad but can't because he is, after all, her captain*

[Sinbad]

*shifty eyes* *backs away*

Just be glad it is me and not Maeve, because she wouldn't let you get away that easily.

But when mentioning it, I wished Maeve was in Doubar's place when he questioned Sinbad's orders.

Maeve: You wouldn't dare. *Sinbad holds his sword to her throat*
Sinbad: Take her to the bridge and chain her.
Maeve: *Starts to be escorted by a minor crew member but overpowers him, knocks him out cold, and grabs his sword.*
Sinbad: Cease her. *The crew doesn't move.* I said cease her, that is an order. *The crew finally gets up to follow their orders.* To Maeve: Now surrender while you still can.
Maeve: Ha. Me surrender. Please.
Sinbad: Very well. Attack.
Maeve to one of the crew members: Don't do this.
Crew member: I have no choice.
Maeve: You always have a choice. Sinbad is not himself. He is under some kind of spell. Trust me.
Crew member: I'm sorry *prepares to attack*
Maeve: And I am sorry, too. *She uses the sword to hold back the attacker but doesn't want to hurt the crew so uses the magic to throw the crew against the wall, knocking them out cold. Sinbad is the only one standing.*
Sinbad: You will regret this.
Maeve: Oh, I am so scared. *She raises her arm and releases fire. Sinbad ducks, and Maeve dashes out the door and onto the deck. Sinbad follows her, and they fight.*

That would´ve been awesome, yeah ;D

We could do something similar in our story. Of course, we would have to get Maeve's approval. I could do it to, but I don't think that is something Bryn would do. Although if you ask me, it is a natural response. If Sinbad is under a spell, you should attempt to get him in line. As a friend, you wouldn't let a drunk man just act like he is acting. You would attempt to help him, and therefore would first have to defend yourself from his attacks.

It could be an idea for somewhen further along the story, we should maybe keep it in mind

This weekend seems likely I have a bunch of work to do which will keep me busy for another 4 hours realistically and I might feel like writing later.

Oh dear, did I never give you any feedback on me? *feels mean* I thought I had.
I like the idea, looks like this could be a really interesting story. I´ll read your update somewhen later today

Sorry, maybe you have, but just don't remember. Test coming up in four hours and I only got 7 hours of sleep in the last three days.

Don't write too much. 2000 words sounds plenty. But I know you, you like to go on and on about what Sinbad has in his head.

I don´t take word count as an indicator. A chapter ends when it feels like the end is plausible. There is something more I´d like to include before I finish the chapter
