Hmmm. Three spheres. A brown one. And they all merge into a fireball. Sounds like Maeve to me. Maeve had brown eyes. And Maeve was well known for her fireball. But could it be. Like Doubar would say "Nah."

Your welcome captain. As you said, we'll see. But that Dermott saw this just reinforces the idea. After all, Dermott is Maeve's hawk.
By the way, talking about Maeve, had you heard from her?
I am wondering, do you want to continue your chat with Doubar our do you want Firouz (me) to interrupt?

No, I´ve not heard about Maeve, but she said she is often not online during the week, only Mondays and Tuesdays due to her study schedule. And Doubar is in the middle of exams which will end around the 20th (if I remember correctly).
If you don´t mind, I would like to wait for Doubar to reply to Sinbad first. An alternative would be that I open a new thread which takes place after this one, so we can have a chat. I think, since nothing major is going to happen in the ongoing thread, this should be fine.

It's not hard to miss. *Proud of himself for catching something the captain missed*
As for the new thread, I will let you finish you conversation with Doubar. Before we port you may ask Firouz if you could see the magnescope or something.

Correction: I usually post on Mondays and Thursdays, Captain.
God, school is a pain in the rear right now! Every time off I get, I would need to spend it studying, but I'm currently experiencing a period of total unmotivation...
Why can't I just make up my mind about what I wanna do in the future like everybody else?!?
********
Ok, back to the thread's purpose. Good idea you got there Firouz! I mean, opening this thread to talk about the story's development...

Ah, Thursdays then Oh well, Maeve, that time will only come too soon. It feels like yesterday when I started studying and now I am just a short way away from passing my final teacher exams.

An alternative would be that I open a new thread which takes place after this one, so we can have a chat. I think, since nothing major is going to happen in the ongoing thread, this should be fine. *tries to keep her eyes opened at least two more minutes* Aye, dear captain. Am in the middle of my exams and uni's driving me crazy at the moment. *thinks of the day she spent at the neurology and the report she has to write about a patient there along with preparing for the exams and the lack of sleep she has* About the story: will try to answer tomorrow and would be fine with starting a new thread. To be honest I'd even prefer that and simply let you and Firouz have a little chat which would most likely have a better pace than a conversation with Doubar can provide at present. Oh and btw: from what it seems a Rongar still is not in sight. Before starting in the tavern (which I suppose won't be until end next week ... at least when looking at the other threads that are stuck that is) I can take him over after next Friday (20th). Oh, yeah and will also complete Doubar's bio then. And @firouz: aye, good idea this thread. Rumina: Oh, dear. Can only imagine what it must be like to study so many different things and in the process get acces to so many different jobs. I mean, even I don't really know just which direction I will choose after finishing my studies but at least I know it will be something related to meds... x) @sinbad: *sighs* Know that feeling. Sometimes I cannot believe I left school almost 4 years ago...

Okay, no need to rush there. Yep, I guess by the end of next week sounds likely.

Maeve: I experienced that last year. Believe me, you don't want to go there. Soon you will start feeling depressed and the dark side will take over you. In my case, I had trouble seeing and never felt hungry so I did not eat much. My friend had to finally can campus police so I would go to see a psychologist. Instead balance your work and study. That way you will be proud you accomplished something. Remember, you are doing this for a better future. You are still young. You have a long time to find happiness. As for me, my time is running out. The clock is ticking. Who knows how long my severely weakened heart will last. But I will go on, and I never felt happier.
Anyway back to the story, I think I would wait for and let you chat a little (it does not seem like it will be a lot by the way it is going). Before we reach Basra, we could open a new thread for that or do you want me to just pop up in the current thread once Sinbad calls Firouz. Or he could call Firouz now to get some guidance (Firouz may have a map with him). Lastly, since it would be a day or two until we reach port, do you want to have a nightly chat with Bryn or someone else?

Since I'm being the calm one in this thread I'll leave that choice to our dear captain.
