I wonder where Rumina and the others are... have you heard about them, recently ? If i'm the only bad one left behind... i will not make you great harm... Me, myself and I against a bunch of do gooder sailors and a apprentice sorceress... well... I will not make all the job alone...

I have heard of Rumina and Rhyad some das ago. They should be back somewhen these days. Therefor, you don´t have to worry there, Eleana.

Ah, come on captain. My post should not be that hard to answer. It should come natural. Anyway Sinbad will have some more chats, perhaps with Bryn, Firouz, and Doubar, so it won't be until another week or so till we land (depending how fast we go). That should give the baddies enough time to regroup and prepare. I have no idea were you are in the story.

Not quite what I had in mind, but then again, this is not my story. I will think of something new to fit with the story. Meanwhile, I leave you again to chat with your brother and perhaps Bryn later on.

Hmmm. Glad where the plot is going. Glad that Doubar caught my little hint. I expect Bryn to have a little chat with Sinbad. You will feel my wrath. You all will feel my wrath.

1st: *grins* He, this was rather a broad hint. ;D 2nd: *takes Firouz' hand and searches for that strange skull-jewelry the dark sorceress wears* You, okay mate? You sound awfully lot like Rumina ... 3rd: Think Sinbad will have to decide on that talk. Well, we'll see what he'll be up to.

Oh girls, (and guy ;D) you are doing a wonderful job in the topic on the Nomad’s deck. I’m really enjoying the direction taken by the story, and the way our beloved captain is facing his awakening path. In this way, the dark side-thing won’t be left behind, and Sinbad will come back, gradually, to the joyful boy of the first season, as we were planning in the plotting section. But I hope we’ll spare just a bit of angst for the moment Maeve will be back This baddies’s absence is giving us the possibility to make every character interact in the scene. It has been fun to see Firouz again (by the way, I love the last invention), and now I’m looking forward to read about Rongar too.

*scratches head* Hmm, have no idea so far when to bring him in. But as Sinbad and Doubar are being lost in talk anyways, our silent friend can continue polishing his daggers some more. And guess the right point of time will show up anyways.

I really like the direction this tread has take, too. And it´s once more a proof to me that characters tend to find their own pace. I didn´t expect him to act the way he does just now, but I guess he just needs to get some things out of his system. He probably wouldn´t have done that, hadn´t it been for Bryn, so it´s nice to see how interaction has an effect on the characters we play.
@dermott: By the looks of it, Sinbad will take quite a while to cope with things so there will definitel be stuff left. ;D

Aye, thanks for giving Bryn (me) credit, Sinbad. I plan for an interesting, inner heart-to-heart talk with Sinbad and try to weed out any information you can come up with. Seems like you (in real life) have quite a brilliant mind, too.
And Doubar, I was kind-of talking as Bryn, since she is a sister of Rumina. It is so hard sometimes to take two characters. You know what I mean, since now you have also taken over Rongar.

Don't worry, Firouz, I know. But simply couldn't resist the urge to answer to that. Oh, and besides, I guess I'm a bit luckier. Its not that hard to differ between the two as Rongar's not able to speak ...

That also gives me a chance to chat with you (Doubar/Rongar), since Doubar does not like to chat very much with me. Of course, you will have to use your hands, because Rongar can’t talk. Hey, do you know sign language?

Aww, what makes you think Doubar doesn't like to chat with Firouz? Of course as soon as he comes up with some new invention, he'll become a bit suspicious about it, but asides from that ... after all the two are old friends. And about Rongar: have to admit that I don't really know sign language. But again, lucky me, Rongar isn't using it as well. So, right will have to use his arms and facial expressions but needn't know sign language.

Well I think of Doubar as:
Doubar: Firouz, will you keep that thing away from me?! Sinbad: Firouz, stop teasing Doubar with that toy. Firouz: Ah, point of fact, it is a toy in this incarnation, but I could think of many uses for the whirligig. Doubar: You would. Firouz: The whirligig itself (can’t make out what he says here), and (can’t make out what he says here) the power of the wind to propel a boat, or some other kind of vehicle. Doubar: Here we go. Firouz: And then classical part, it could adjust to the height— Doubar: Firouz, why don’t you give your whirli-mecallit to somebody else? (Firouz hands his whirligig to Rongar) Firouz: To be a genius is to be misunderstood. Maeve: I think you hurt Firouz’s feelings.
Hey, that gives me a idea, maybe I can talk to Maeve when she comes back. At least she understands me, sort of. I can image having a long conversation with Maeve about my invention or hypothesis.
But now, where we currently are, I don't think this is the time to intervene. Anyway Firouz and Bryn are downstairs, so either Sinbad comes down or Bryn comes up, but she is helping Firouz so she will probably not come up until night. At that time Sinbad and Bryn could have a chat at the tiller.

Hehe, yeah, Doubar and Firouz are a bit like dogs and cats, but believe me .... deep inside his heart my inner tubby likes his inventor friend. And about Maeve: Well, I'd dare to presume that she will have long talks with each of the crew. Of course it's her decision to make, but if I had been gone for over a year I guess I'd wanted to chat with everyone - get to know what happened and stuff. So there's good chance you'll have you long talk with her, I think.
