Sinbad & Maeve : Finally caught up with your writings and dear heavens, I can only agree with Lani - you two are epic! So much emotion, such awesome descriptions. The whole thing just feels so alive, I could easily be watching it instead of reading. Oh yay, and finally they got the upper hand in this fight! That's great! The thug's threat though sends shivers down my spine and makes me think that indeed this is not the last time the crew has heard of him. >.< Kalani : Aw, I'm so relieved knowing you're okay with my little bit of God-moding, and that you think bringing Nuray in was actually a sensible move. Indeed it might be nice to give her some space here and there so that if we ever get to play the desert plot it won't be too odd that she's taking part in the events.  Aye, he's not willing to risk that at all - which is also the main reason why I could only see him draw back even though it meant pushing her. Looking forward to that! ^^ Do take your time with it though, dear. I know that you're busy so no rushing, yeah?  *hugs*

Awesome new post, Nili! Love how observant Sinbad is concerning Maeve, and how Baldy's threat kindled something in him again that he meant to overcome - and which was indeed altered by his protectiveness towards the Celt. I really should get around to posting with Mala though, now that you're leaving the scene. Also, I assume we might wish to finish our skirmish back in the main road, or get to a point where the defeated Baldy can call his henchmen back depending on where you're taking him. |

Posted!  As you'll see, after I read Nili's previous post, I just couldn't help but add another obstacle to their reunion by bringing back into the picture the guard Maeve previously whacked during the quarrel. I think it makes for an interesting twist that just when they think it's finally over, they have to deal with a guard who wants to arrest Maeve and charge her with assault on a city officer! Mwahaha! |

Ahoy ye jolly mateys I missed so much!! I hope you're all doing great!! I sure am! Camp is over and school has started, which means I'm back in the saddle to write! Ah, I can't believe I made it! I posted! After such a long time I sent Majid back in. Yay. I realize there's not much happening and the post itself isn't exactly awesome probably, but I hope it sounds reasonable enough. Majid might seem all rough and tough but just like Doubar he's got his soft spots and Nuray definitely is a friend to him. Now, if I can manage it I will also try to write with Doubar again but right now I can't make any promises because there's some other stuff I have yet to do as well (whoever said being an adult would be fun, eh? -.- ) |

Thanks, dear! When I wrote it, I didn't really plan on mixing their POVs. It was supposed to just be Majid, however at some points it just would have felt shallow (if that's the right word for it) if I hadn't voiced Nuray's impressions, too. I will try and get him back in action as soon as I can. |
