Aw... Thank you, thank you I must admit that writing the post was a real postive distraction for my brain. I had to reread "Crossing..." thread makes the notes (One of Nili's post was very helpfull, thank you Nili ), I had to imagine the whole situation, try to think Krisy-way and had to recall my English. Really nice break from everyday duties And I'm really happy that you like it I simply love Kriss-Zaid relation and I just had to put something about him I had to As for Sinbad I thought it would be funny way and in the same time a bit Krissy, you know I'm glad that you find it realistic that Kriss' know Kalani and Majid. I think that tavern's owners know much more people than usual inhabitant of the city. Many vist her, others are known from stories and rumors. |

Aw, I can imagine. And to be honest, I, too, have to re-read Crossing Blades whenever I am posting with one of my chars. We just have too long breaks in between now to really remember the details. But hey, that's life and we all are busy now. Haha, yeah, Kriss and Ziad are so much fun - a bit like Maeve and Sinbad in their early days. Always annoying and irritating each other yet there's also this spark of attraction. And concerning your reasoning about Kalani and Majid: I agree. While I don't know if any of the two ever visited the Crown (somehow I don't think Majid did, but Connor for sure has paid the tavern a visit every now and again) Kriss certainly has heard about and seen them, because yeah - she naturally knows a whole lot of people. |

Oookay, so after what seems like half an eternity I finally posted again. And God, have I become rusty! I hope the post still turned out to be somewhat decent. Also, there's a second one following soon, I only need the everyone account for that one and have forgotten the PW. Oh well, gives you the opportunity to guess who's coming to his help.  Lani: Please, do tell me if it's okay for you what I did in this post. I know one of the rules of rp-ing is to not take any action away from the other characters and I tried to leave you as much room for Kalani as possible. But at least to me it seemed like there was little else he could do. I had kind of hoped after all that Sinbad could aid him, but now I myself had to solve the problem I had created and because he's just human and not the almighty fighter, the only thing I could see him do was try and avoid the blow. And since ducking or stepping sidewards just wasn't an option, pulling back seemed the only sensible move left. Let me know though if you're fine with that. If not I'll try and think of something else. |

Do tell me what you think about my choice though and whether this twist is okay for you. Originally I hadn't planned for Nuray to make any bigger appearances, not before the desert plotline (if we ever get that far at all) anyway, but now I had to improvise. For now I'll leave the two posts at that so that Kalani has chance to react. If inspiration strikes though and since things are happening real fast anyway, I might make another small post that just covers that last few seconds of the impending attack. |
