@kal: Aw, so each of us has their talents and their dreams of creating something else as well. And with you making vids for what we write, we combine the best of both our gifts. Yay us! ;D ;D ;D But, let me tell you, skipping to dialogues isn't necessarily a bad thing.  I usually have way to little of them in my fics and thus am always on the brim of writing boring stuff. I reckon my fics aren't of every reader's liking just because of the details. Usually there's not much action in what I write, and sometimes my fics cover mere moments, so for some I think what I do is really boring. Your vids however never are!  And true, though I don't know the eps as well as you do, I can't remember such a scene either. And in that regard your solution was just great! Aha, LOTS! I should have known. ;D But true, it's really useful as it's one of the few modern shows that work with the fantasy/adventure theme as well.  |

Well, well, well, who would've thought that so soon I get something up on ff.net again? ;D But I have the best reason to do so. Today's Whisper's birthday and for that one decided to finally start posting the story I have been working on for ages now (literally!). As the introduction says I have 11 chapters so far, so don't you worry - there's quite some stuff to read. Unfortunately though I for long have not been able to write on which is why I never posted it till now.  Now I hope that getting nice review (which I hope I will get *blush*) will help in getting my muse back on track - thus feel invited to review (you, too, who have no ff.net account as I have anonymous review enabled ). Oh, one last thing though: You may notice the style of this story is a little different from what you got to read till now. Really, I wrote the first chapters when I was in-between leaving school and starting uni. So yeah, it's quite some years old. Still I decided not to change anything (apart from some mistakes I had made) as I somehow liked what I had done there. It's more dialogues and less emotion, but I think that this even does the story good. Anyhow, enough with my ramblings. I hope you do enjoy the story. And once again happy, happy birthday, Whisper!!!!!!!!!!!!!  |

I LOVE how Sinbad has slowly returned to his old self!
And how everyone knows its because he has a piece of Maeve with him.
I can't wait to see if this is a real bird, a real mythical bird, or a way for Maeve to return as the physical embodiment of the Phoenix!

Awww, thanx, Firouz. Yeah, back when I started the story I didn't want to write all about the process of Sinbad slowly calming down and getting back on track, so I summed it all up in these first sentences. xD I now feared that this was too short really, but I'm glad to hear you still liked it. And thanx for liking the part about Maeve. It's really what comes from the other two stories. I hope that readers will also get the hints though not having read the others, but I think that I explained it ell enough for anyone to understand, or what do you think? As for the bird: well, you'll see my friend, you'll see. ;D Thanx again for reading and reviewing. It means a whole lot!!! P.S.: And thanx for the fav!! I hope the story will be worth the same! |

@firouz: @kriss: Aw, thanx for r&r! I'm happy you like the first chapter! Aya, the style is pretty easy to read isn't it? Nowhere near what I used to do the last couple of years. xD Hah, and yeah, 'lol' at Doubar. I was hoping to capture his S1 personality right, and that one had always made me laugh or grin, which is why in this chapter he is a bit of a entertainer as well. ;D And mentioning S1: Great! I'm glad you think this part has its athmosphere. I hope the whole story will have to you! Because that's what I wanted to do: continue the journey with the spirit of that first season which I loved so much. And yeah, and I know how much you like their relationship (though I cannot I say I included it on purpose because back then I didn't even know any of you guys, and I didn't even care much for Doubar *caugh, caugh, hides from the first mate* - I just wanted to portray everyone well and the brotherhood just is part of that ;D ). Well, I'm all eager to give you the chance. Thanx again! |

You're very, very welcome Yes, it's very easy to read when you've got more dialogues then some descriptions. Not that I don't like your new styles, you know I do (especially 1st person style ;D ). I just wanted to say that this one was a nice, funny lecture. I found there the spirit of first season, that's for sure. Once again, it is also a reason why this piece of yours was so nice and easy to read. Well, the S/D brotherhood is a big part of the show (If someone likes it or not, it just is. Ed loved them, too.) And even if back then you didn't feel it that much, still you couldn't write the AoS fic without including it. Great, can't wait to read |

I hope the rest will be, too (though it's gonna be less funny of course). Oh, yes, of course, the brootherhood belongs to AoS like the fantasy and friendship of the crew does.
