Wait, the Nomad thinks of herself as having a willowy body and footing? She has no feet. Though I really like the idea of a personification of the Nomad- and now you mention it, the friend and master line suddenly makes sense- it didn't come across (to me at least) when reading it. Oh and I'd love to read your description of Maeve pumping out vast amounts of magic! I wanna see what happens.
Also: the language did match Scratch very well. So good job you!
*Hugs back* ;D

Personification is all about turning something inanimate and inhuman into a human being, right? And willowy just felt like a better lyrical 'tone' as it were to the flow of the plotline I was going for. A ship's hull is usually made from a bendable, floatable kind of wood right?

Aww, I really like it, Firouz. I LOVE the idea of writing from the Nomad's POV - although I must admit that I didn't realize it was hers until you mentioned it. And the second half was very well written, too. The descriptions were great and I love how dark and oppressive everything was, and how you made it obvious that this was no normal storm. Great work there, dear! (I'm sorry I can't give a detailed review atm. - might make up for it somewhen later)

It really wasn't supposed to be 'known' as it were to be the Nomad's POV in the beginning.
Kind of an opening mystery that leads you into the actual fic itself.
I'm glad you liked it though Doubar!

@doubar, Yep! I was so time crunched with my classes; I think I finally have a system down where I can get everything I HAVE to do done and still have time to do what I WANT to do. Thank you! I wanted it to show how the Goddess' power and kindness was radiating outwards through Maeve's own core beliefs. Thank you! Unfortunately, I think Sinbad is going to be off-kilter for a good long while in this story.... Well.... I'll let in on a secret...she's the catalyst to Maeve's own inner struggle. After all, Maeve only LEFT Albion to save Dermott. Her mission is over now, and all her family is there in Albion...a family she's not seen in almost 10 years..... Yes, Tristan is very overprotective. A mixture of his Roman slavery, his accendence to freedom, sudden fatherhood, a major magical war, and the fact that for more than 20 years...he's been the eyes and ears of his friends and family for so long....he's ability to stay 'secret' is to him, what kept his family safe. To keep the children safe, they needed the secrets to be all but eliminated, so they wouldn't be accidentally revealed. Thank you! I'm SO glad you liked it! ;D

@teti, Thank you!! It's okay you couldn't read it earlier; you are a busy lady. I totally understand. Yes, Maeve, Dermott, Bryn, and Roslyn have many secrets. Some that are finally coming to light; some that will have to remain until Tristan and the Knights trust Sinbad and the guys more. Yes, I liked how I described Maeve's powers too. I have a friend who is Pagan and she talks about how she feels more in tune with the spells that are more 'fire-elemental' in nature than the other spells she and the coven uses. ((Shrugs)), I also couldn't help adding in my own poetic vision of how I sometimes wished Maeve was with her powers. I know everyone has to start slow and do little spells, but I also think she was limiting herself with her attitude in S1. I have always believed that Dermott had some sort of power too. After all, he could speak telepathically with Maeve and for that short time with Sinbad; he transferred the pictures about Maeve when the boys were in trouble with Scratch that first time, recall? Now, to me, it Maeve was still doing the lower end of the spells to possibly the middle range spells, the distance might just have been to much for Maeve to send without a little magical support from Dermott to pass the message along, right? Or is that just me??? Yes, Bryn IS a princess after all! LOL Princesses DO marry other royals and nobles! LOL Bryn's amnesia was caused by the storm she was in; that really hasn't changed from canon. She got a mighty whack to the head while on board the ship carrying her to Hibernia. Her fiancée is a gentleman, a chieftain's son from one of the coastal clans. Arthur united Briton/Albion, Hibernia or Scotland as it's called now, wasn't so united way back then! LOL Yea, I feel sorry for doing this to him too, but I also know he can handle it! And the spell, well...that'll be explained in the next chapter!! Thank you very much Teti! I HOPE to update possibly next weekend; the latest next week I think. ((HUGS))

@teti,It's okay you couldn't read it earlier; you are a busy lady. I totally understand. oh, thank you for understanding my situation!! i'm still trying to get used to the new work and the fewer free time i got! and i can't stop myself of guessing what would they be, those unrevealed ones,, waiting for our captain to show them he deserves their trust you draw a wonderful picture back there, seriously. yeah, i think everyone start by little spells, but she has magic from before.. so she isn't starting now, is she? it was bound to not be used right? or it's my imagination? because i can say fairly if it is the case so that's another point we share about her, but her father did that right? in my case she did it to herself anyway, i too agree with you that she wasn't giving herself good chance in S1,, that's not the Maeve we imagine. i'm eager to see what you still have for her in your store YES, YES, YESSSSSSSSSSSS oh, no you're not alone in this,, here i'm, just seconds every word *high fives* oh, now... lucky girl she is, isn't she? heheee, I love when princess or princes marry someone non royal! well especially princes but that's not realistic, and not our case here, still, she is a lucky girl,, i wonder what will be his character? his mind, his personality? will he have a clear or big role in story events? love how simple is her background.. i mean the part of her amnesia.. that's really lovely, but say, why i don't feel like she is eager to meet, see and know about him again? i mean her fiance, does Dermott and Maeve told her everything already? or didn't she met him before? oh, she didn't? it was supposed to be the first time to see him when the storm kicked the ship? aw, you have great faith on the captain, haven't you? but yeah i think he can handle it too, oooh, yayyy i'm waiting for it then will rein my curiosity until then aw, it's my pleasure... ((hugs back)) it's me to thank you for sharing your lovely work with us really? that's great news... waiting for it

@doubar I always try to keep the guys there lovable, overprotective, selves! LOL Well, travel is hard for any pregnant lady, now and then, using magic to speed two people along (well 3 with the baby) makes it harder and MUCH more exhausting! Well, Prince Eamon & Bryn, BOTH, are indirectly the cause of war. You'll just have to wait and see why. Nah, I'm not that mean, like I said....Indirectly. LOL I'm glad you are liking this! It's a challenge to keep it so intriguing, but I'm glad that I am succeeding! ((HUGS)) Thanks again!

You're welcome, dear!! Whoa, and so you're saying Bryn, too, caused the war and not just by not having arrived at her fiancé's? Now I really wonder what happened there. Can't wait to find out! Aw, and I know what you mean - about the keeping things intriguing part. That's where I, quite frequently, struggle as well. But so far you're doing a fab job there!

@doubar, yep, indirectly, through no fault of their own, war is upon Albion and Hibernia!
