No, but there is a theory of why they had long crowns.

Bryn: No, that was not what I meant. there are archeological findings such as the link above that show a deformation and there are also carvings in the pyramids or sculptures where pharaos etc.are depicted without crowns and where their heads have an unusual shape, such as here: img116.imageshack.us/i/africanyn8.jpg/

but if they had long crowns because of that then the crowns should be more horizontal i mean the end of it should be back a little more I mean don't try to convince me that whole pharaohs had deformations. all of them use the same crown. but may be one of them had something like that so he ordered to make crowns like that. the other pharaohs took it as a tradition....may be?

Bryn: I think it was caused by deliberate deformation. If you took a child, an infant, and wrapped bandages around his head for a long time, the bones would harden into that position.
