@sinbad: could you just please try to resize the pic? Well the two shapes you posted are amazing. but the mixing between the shape as a face of a man although it's just a pile of sand can be explained. sometimes when you look at some random shapes you can see it as another totally different shape like dog or giraffe or so on. like when you look at the clouds and feel that each one of then formed something. but here we are talking about real carves. hardly someone could mix between its shape and other one. according to the second article the author reached a conclusion that there was a very ancient civilization before the ancient Egypt that was very developed and made something like that. so what's your opinion?

Well, do you believe in the theory of Atlantis? And who knows how advanced the Babylonians were? I think the Ancient Romans were very advanced to have a water pump that resembles a current oil rig. But it is possible that those carvings of aircrafts were just ideas and never actually existed. The idea of flying can be trace thousands of years. But no one actually made a successful flying machine until the early 1900s. But again, who knows. The ancient Egyptians could have been aliens. ;D That would explain the Star Wars hovercraft.

Yeah i heard and read about Atlantis and Barmoda Triangle. but Give me a break. i can't believe that there were Aliens who built all these ancient civilizations because those civilizations don't seem to be developed enough to do things like that. we Know very little about theses civilizations and I'll not be surprised if they discovered a very primitive solid trail for building a plane. as you said it may be was just ideas they thought of, but it could be exist in an era of political disappearance so No one has the courage to make it true. or may be they tried to make it secretly and no one discovered till now.

Bryn: I took it out, I didn´t know how to resize it. ANd about the carvings: Well, the first article states that the shapes are a result of overlayering carvings, the originals did not look like that. I would maybe go as far as saying that what Sarah says is possible, meaning that if they are real, then these were "sketches" of things that didn´t exist. However, the translation of the hieroglyphs are a title, nothing to do with space crafts or flying machines. One thing that would support the theory of these things being "ideas" that could not be put into reality at the time, is something that we see later, around 1500 in sketches of Leonardo Da Vinci, who made drafts like these here: Inventions like that only existed on paper back then and were not put into existance until several hundred years later. Sarah: Meeeeh, I am VERY sceptical to any alien theories to explain ancient civilisations such as the ones van Daeniken comes up with. His proves are more than shaky.

Also, proofs like that there are "aliens" depicted in ancient carvings, such as here: (UFOologists like to take the shape of the heads as indicators for the depicted figures being aliens) can not be seen as evidence, since there are severa theories about the head deformation in angient Egypt, one being that it was a result of incest in the royal lines, the other that there were cults that had their heads formed like that by forming the skulls of infants to fit a certain beauty ideal. Here´s an article about that. www.accessgenealogy.com/native/handbook/facts/indian_artificial_head_deformation.htmThere was another people, somewhere in South America, the ones that carved those huge shapes into the landscape... gah... I can´t remember their name... they use that too. They put bandages around the heads of infants to lengthen their heads.

Inventions like that only existed on paper back then and were not put into existance until several hundred years later. Exactly. And Firouz invented dynamite and the bipedeler in 500 AD. ;D Oh come on. You don't believe in Stargate. ;D

@sinbad: 'kay me too agree with what Sarah said. but about the writing symbols. Egyptians used to use symbols of their daily life to make heliography. they used birds, palms, eyes.....etc....so using sketches of airplanes as a symbols too is not so weird i would think. that if the theory of the airplanes is true, of course about Da Vinci he was total genuine did you know that he was drawing his sketches in reverse. so by putting it in front of a mirror the reflection of the photo will reveal the real draft he used. also did you know that when he was drawing his remarkable paint "the last supper" he invited a person to be his idol for drawing Jesus. the man's face was so pure and holy. but after this incident with so many years DA Vinci wanted to draw yahoza. he met another man whose face was a total sinful. he found him to be the exact person to represent yahoza. but after that Leonardo discovered that both men are one. the man he used his pure face for Jesus is the same man who he used his face as yahoza*don't know his name in English*the man who betrayed Jesus

what about your face? your whole face reveals that you're partially kind but the bigger part of it reveals the behind this kindness there are a real annoying person . but your eyes are serious and hold a slight sadness. you are the one who asked so don't feel offended. wait why didn't you sleep?

@sarah: Yeah that's what i saw. it doesn't mean that you have to be sad. but that's what i sensed from your eyes. and may be you're really sad for some reasons but you forgot about that unconsciously. sometimes things like that happen..... and you really slept . how long?
