Possibly, that has possibilities! I'd have to talk to my friend about it though...but I don't think she'd be against it if we decide to go to NC

yeah, I do sometimes. Like the Great Pyramids at Giza. Back in their Hay-Day, they were covered in white plaster/coating that made it shine like a diamond and capped with a diamond or gold. And the Obelisks...WOW!!!!!!! And the guardian statues around the mighty cities....those are TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! True, so very true. ;D

Giggles Yep, I LOVE Ancient Egypt! If I hadn't gone into education, I SOOOOO wanted to go into Archeology specifically, Egyptian or Arthurian.

Mala: You could always be a history teacher. That way you can study history and artifacts alongside teaching. If you become a professor at a university, then you may be able to go to the sites to study history.

True, I'd like the study part of it on MY side, but I really like elementary level kids. College level and professorship is to...I don't know...not me

Hmmm............ Well, they don't really teach history in elementary school, unless you teach some sort-of elective.

Yeah, there's not much history until you reach 4th and 5th grade.

Or you could be a teacher by trade and do archeology as a hobby. And you could bring in stuff to show your students. Young kids love new things.

All so very true! But either one are still far away and Egypt will most likely have to wait a couple of years.

Well, that's a bit complicated.
I'm an interpreter for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing by trade. I have graduated High School, have my certificate of communications, have my license to Interpret from the state of Texas, AND I have an Ass. degree. I want to go and get a BA for education, but I have to work full time and can only go to school part time.
Besides, I've been schooled out, for myself, and have taken a semester off. I'm not sure I want to continue, but I also WANT the BA.
I think I just need the year off to cool down from the stress, ya know? I work at a school with kids, and then I spend three four hours a day at college...I'm just tired of it for now.
