((Grins)) Ooh...In the Tut exhibit, they had his non-format crown, and let me tell you, for an everyday kinda circlet...it was pretty elaborate! And they had the gold coprophagous (is that spelled right....don't look like it) of Tut's grandmother...not him. He's still in Eygpt. They have a LOT of cool things there and you can see his different staffs for religious, political, royal, and everyday use. Then you can see all sorts of statues of the different Gods and Goddesses. Also, you get to see different statues of Tut throughout the exhibit too!! LOL

*goes all bogus* Whooot! I so have to go there! *cannot await it anymore* Oh, I wanna see these things, too. I mean, yeah, they are not the originals, but magazines over here wrote that they are so brilliantly made that even Zahi Hawass was astounded. Oh and the correct spelling would be: sarcophagus ... but never mind.

sarcophagus, thanks.... And if you are a fan of Zahi Hawass...you can buy a copy of his fedora field hit in the exhibits' gift shop! He even left a hand written message in the booth where they are sold!

You're kidding. *chuckles* His fedora? How cool is that. ;D But I have to see that message. Handwritten you say? Oh boy, with everything you tell me I get more impatient to finally see that. xD

Mala: Glad that you got your signature working. And I will check out that King Tut exhibit. I think they might have had something similar in the States. If not, I will keep an eye open. *smirks* Oh, and Maeve would love that. @doubar: Thanks for helping Rongar.

@firouz, if I remember right, the exhibit should be leave Dallas for Philadelphia, Penn in a week or two.
Where it goes after that, I'm not sure but I think there is one or two more cities after Dallas in any case.
@doubar, yeah, it was cool! The message was a nice touch and if I ever go to Egypt...I hope it comes true! LOL And no, I won't tell you what it said. I'm sure if you thought about it, you could figure it out yourself

And no, I won't tell you what it said. I'm sure if you thought about it, you could figure it out yourself *fakes a whiny face* Eww, you are so mean. ... ;D Well, I will see myself. And it will be fantastic! *starts to make a list* So that would be you, Maeve and me on the list of "I wanna visit Egypt"s. *ponders* Hm, didn't Derm want to go there, too? *suddenly has a funny idea* Hah, can you imagine what this would be like if we went there together? *has mental image of four girls drooling over every little ancient egypt thing* ;D

((Grabs straw hat, sunscreen, neckerchief, and...)) Well, here a list and I'd be one of the first to go to Egypt! I SSSOOO want to!! Yeah, that'd be funny. I'd probably drool over the statues and cartouses. ((that's not spelled right either is it?))

Well, I'm not sure if it'll get near Montreal, but if you look it up you should be able to find the schedule for Tut.
And Yeah, I couldn't believe how lucky I was to get the tickets! Ticket Masters.com has a limited time that allows you to buy tickets from it. If you're to late, the ticket goes to the person who signed on after you. I nearly lost the tickets! I just barely got them with like 5 seconds to spare.
Thanks for the spelling mistake. I can normally know immediately if a words spelled wrong, but I couldn't figure out the correct spelling.

Mala: So you are in Dallas, Texas. Are you going to visit Raleigh, North Carolina?

Rumina and Rongar: Do you know those moments when you see a picture/a film about ancient Egypt and suddenly have the mental image of how that all must have looked back then? I imagine it to be so overwhelming!!!

@firouz, well, Raleigh is one of my options this year for summer vacation. Why? Are you there? I can't remember if I read that or not. Then again, I AM saving up to have a nice LONG vacation in England with my dad, my friend, her parents, and myself....choices choices....
@doubar, yeah, I do sometimes. Like the Great Pyramids at Giza. Back in their Hay-Day, they were covered in white plaster/coating that made it shine like a diamond and capped with a diamond or gold. And the Obelisks...WOW!!!!!!! And the guardian statues around the mighty cities....those are TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!

Yeah, I go to NC State in Raliegh. I will be taking summer school, so I will be there during the summer, but I will commute from my home which is not too far from Raleigh.
