Rumina's magic is still weak after Dim-Dim's spell backfired on her when she tried to kill Maeve. That's why she can't opt for crashing down Dim-Dim wards and she has to make Sinbad work through them to reach her "beloved" Celtic sorceress. She supposes that if she's still into hiding, her training must not be over yet, than she has all interests into taking actions as soon as possible. She's surely weaker than what she used to be... but she's still Rumina, daughter of the great Turok. Black magic is embedded in her body and soul, so expect her to go back to her full standards soon. In the meanwhile, she's digging into Scratch's powers through the pendant she always wears. This is Rumina's situation. I must say I do ignore Maeve's

You mean Dimdim's spell caused your own spell to backfire on you, am I right? Sounds fine to me.

Okay, bringing this back to something we had discussed earlier. Is everyone fine with the version that we have Rumina have her hands in getting Maeve away from Dim-Dim´s protection a.k.a Rumina causing the crew to meet again indirectly so she has access to Maeve who she could not reach when still with Dim Dim? One last thing we need to get settled before we start. The crew will start rp-ing in Basra where they anchored to get some stuff, food, water, something basic like this. So before we get started we need to know: how does Maeve meet the crew again? By just crossing paths? With some minor trouble involved? As I see it we can not start before we have tracked that down roughly, we don´t need much details since we´ll flesh it out as we write. Therefore... Maeve?

Yes, captain, I, for one, am fine with Rumina having her hands in Maeve's return.
And, fresh water, captain. Fresh water. Sinbad always used fresh water.
As for Maeve, I would like her to be transported somewhere in a nearby village, but not Sinbad is? The villiager see her magically appearing from nowhere and start attacking her. Or the village is already under attack. Anyhow she gets injured and is unconscious when Sinbad finds her. Sorry if too much detail. So, what do you say, Maeve dear?

Yeah, fresh water. And isn't that when Doubar says "Little brother, why must you always be so practical? Why couldn’t you have just said, ‘Men, let’s go ashore! Who knows what adventures may await us there! Maybe wine, women, song!"
Maybe the crew could split up, and Bryn and Maeve meet first. Neither knows each other but Maeve notices a rainbow bracelet on Bryn and questions her. I would let it flow from there.

Hmmm. You have a point. If neither Bryn or Maeve knows each other and after Maeve sees the rainbow bracelet, she would be like "where did you get that?" Bryn would say she is not sure. Maeve would say, "Hmmm, not sure, ay." Then Bryn would talk about how she woke up on a island, how the islanders attacked her, and how Sinbad saved her. Maeve would say "Sinbad, you know Sinbad: tall, brown hair, a little cocky? Bryn would say "Yes." Maeve would yell "What the hell is another female doing on that boat. I am going to have a long talk with that boy of a captain."
And yes, Still Life, I loved that episode, especially when Maeve said to Sinbad, "He's sensitive, poetic, knows how to treat a woman with respect. Course you don't like him."

That is a very logical thinking, but Sinbad said not too much detail.

I know, but I just want everything to work logically.

But life is not always logical. This is not science.

Fine. *throws hands up in the air* I will just let Maeve decide. Frustrated from the argument, shouts "And where the hell is that peasant witch!"

If maeve hears that, she will fry you for sure!
& captain, i'll have the 'sinbad meeting maeve with some minor trouble involved' version... Like they both have a sword at each others throat, aye, that would be interesting!

That would be fine with me. Actually I also wrote that as an option earlier. And Maeve would not hurt the generally kind-hearted scientist. After all, he is the one who always understood her.

Oh yes, Firouz, you have given that opinion earlier, i didnt check those early threads, my mistake! Actually i was watching LOTR earlier, & there was a scene where Arwen held a sword at Aragorn's throat, & said, "What's this? A ranger caught off his guard!" I found that really interesting! ;D

And the amount of detail is just fine. One more reason why I like it is: we could get all characters involved in a thread rather early where they fight around the village. This does not mean the first thread is an all people thead, maybe it´s first Sinbad and someone else wandering around while some others have a look at the tavern or something, but there would be a little fighting involved and that´d be nice. **** Oh yes, Firouz, you have given that opinion earlier, i didnt check those early threads, my mistake!
