"None other." the lord of the flies did a mock courteous bow, and then dissapeared. After a few seconds, the whole black scenery began to change. Soon Bryn would find herself in Scratch's domain. It's not the real domain of the devil, but rather, a dream facsimile of it. The room was covered with cobwebs, fire served as the pool at the vertical ends of the throne room's hallway, and Scratch soon appeared & sat down on his brimstone carved throne.
"I think it's time we spent some time chatting as old fiends, wouldn't you agree?" Scratch grinned nastily and took a sip from his goblet.

When Bryn saw Scratch disappear, she looked around to see where he went to. But he was nowhere. And she had noticed that it seemed like she was being transported somewhere. Then everything seemed to settle, and she found herself in a dark room. She jumped at the feeling of cobwebs at her boots. And Scratch reappeared in front of her, mocking her.
She let out a huff. "Old fiends? Okay, since my dear old fiend wants to chat, lets chat."

"All I gotta say, you gotta stop thinking about those crummy sea urchins as your friends. They'll toss ya overboard when you least expect it. Especially that tubby fool. Who knows what kind of balderdash is going on in his mind." the devil unpleasantly grimaced.

Bryn narrowed her eyebrows. "Hey, don't talk about Doubar that way! I care about him a lot, you know."

"Ooooooh, such selfless words. But sadly, I smell nothing but hollowness out of them. You barely even know yourself and the others. Why save your life for them, when you're destined for greatness?" the devil stood on his throne, and spread his hands wide.
"Staying in a ship aimlessly must be quite boring, eugh!"

Bryn gave Scratch a sarcastic, questioning, and a little annoyed face. True, she did not know much about herself. And she had only been on the Nomad for a year. But still, they were the only family she knew. And they did treat her well during that year. They could have just left her on that island. As for Doubar, despite only knowing him for a year, he had always been there for her. She kind-of felt she owed them. And destined for greatness. What is that supposed to mean?
She looked down at her boots before looking back at the devil. "It is not boring," she protested.

"You'll be the judge on what is truly boring when you feast your eyes on this!" Scratch raised his hands, and the scenery shifted to a similar hellish place, only that Bryn would be sitting on a chair. The chair was not only there, but a table full of meat-exclusive, non-vegan food placed all over. Any wandering soul would kill to eat these kinds of foods, and Scratch took advantage of that method to further seduce Bryn into his influences.
"Come on, eat up, I'm sure yer hungry, lassie." the devil gave her an encouraging grin as he sat down on the opposite end of the table, and took a bite off his steak.
"Mmmm, delicious, no?"

Bryn had suddenly found herself in stone chair, sitting in-front of a table full with meat. There was so much meat it kind of made her sick. She looked at the devil, who sat at the opposite end and munched on a steak. She chuckled at his words. "Honey, you are forgetting that I am a sorceress and don't get hungry that often. And I typically prefer fruits and bread over meats. But Doubar would be happy to help himself with your generous feast."
She stood up from her chair. "Well, it was nice chatting with you." She started to leave her chair.

"Aw, why not? They'll make ya stronger in the long run!" Scratch reassured Bryn, and witnessed her about to leave his psuedo-domain.
"It'd be rude to leave the host who provides you great hospitality. And might I add, one does not simply walk away from Scratch himself. It'd put a stain in my business, y'see?"
Snake-like ropes sprouted from the ground, and they tied up Bryn like such bothersome and hard to open knots.
"Wriggle and writhe as much as you can, it'll do worse than better!" Scratch laughed derisively.

She had noticed the ropes appearing but had no time to act. They had coiled around her and tied her up. She struggled with all her might but could not get free. She breathed heavily, releasing her half-panic, half-anger. She glared at the devil. "What do you want with me?" she yelled at him while testing her bonds.

"What do I want?" the devil laughed haughtily. "I want your life leading a productive turn, rather than associating with pretentious friends. You need better ones, and I'm the one for it, my dear."
"Now sit down back" Scratch used his warping power to make Bryn sit down on the chair again. ".... and feast on your dinner. I could accommodate it to your liking if you want."

Bryn breathed heavily. She let out a huff. "Oh really. I don't think friends tie one another to a chair and force them to eat. Now, can you please untie me."

"Very well. Only if you are kind enough not to leave the host's invitation." Scratch advised Bryn, and waited to hear her answer before releasing her from the binds.

Bryn thought for a second and looked into the demon's eyes before answering. "Okay, I will accept your invitation."

"Good lass." the devil contently looked at Bryn. He has her under his power for now, and he would love to spill the details of her heritage, but it was oh-so fun to see her so lost and confused. Her knowing everything will spoil the fun, so he decided to pull her around like she were to be a marionette for his strings.
"Like my place? I know you do." Scratch asked Bryn.
