Ow, I only wish she would come back and continue to write her brilliant stories. Of all AoS authors, she definitely counts to the very best!

I guess I've never had the pleasure of getting a chance yet to read our Rumina's stories.... Guess I'll have to rectify that as soon as I can!

Oh gosh, yes, you HAVE to read her stories!!!! I'm sure you'll love them just like we do! They hold the spirit of S1, and belong to the very best AoS fanfics that can be found on the net (IMO ). www.fanfiction.net/u/422368/Electra11

I love her miss scenes in "the bully" the most. I don't feel satisfied with the end of this ep. It seems they threw Maeve away at the half last when they give her very romantic opening. She doesn't appear much after she hears Doubar talk about Sinbad. I always think Maeve should talk with Sinbad in this ep, not much, but she should. It would make the last half fit with the first. You know when I watch this ep, I always have the feeling that I watch two eps in 45 minutes.

Aw, yes, that missing scene was great. Though admittedly I never felt like the actual ep was incoherent. The focus lay on Sinbad's past with Lee, and since Sinbad and Maeve still had not solved their own relationship, I felt it to be natural for him to turn more to Doubar than to her. But, anyhow, of course, yes, seen from a shipper's point of view, there was definitely something missing there. After all Maeve got to know about a very important part of Sinbad's past in this ep.

Focus on Sinbad, I also see it's ok, but the emotion they created at the first haft was not fitted with the last. They should keep it through the ep or didn't creat it at first. But I think I feel that way just because of the translation. The sentence "I worry for you" in English when it's translated into Vietnamese, it has three meanings first is "I worry for you" (with a friend) second is "I worry for you, sister" (with friend or sister) and the third is "I worry for you, my love." Three sentences are alike. Just only the first meaning we use different personal pronouns with the two last meaning. So when the commentators chose the second personal pronouns for Maeve and Sinbad, the relationship between them is maybe friends or brother/sister or lovers. But with those personal pronouns, the meaning of the sentence not lay on words but depends on the expression of characters, and I and other watchers chose the third meaning for them. And we have another big problem that at some first eps, commentators chose the first personal pronouns for Maeve and Sinbad to show that they're only friends, and they changed them after the ep where Maeve and Sinbad kissed. You know in some films I have watched, when the couple change the personal pronouns in the way they talk with other like that, it means they're in love. And with that, the way the producers let Maeve stayed away from Sinbad's problem makes me annoy. I watched AOS when I was young by Vietnamese, something impresses me at first It's hard to change.

banmaixanh: Ooooh, I see! Well, seen from your point of view I totally understand your reasoning. I, too, would have been taken aback then, and would have found it to be incoherent. Because, when assuming they had already solved their own relationship and decided they were together, then it would indeed be odd for Sinbad to not let Maeve into this and let her help him solve these troubles.

I rewatched that episode yesterday. And I guess I was too busy looking at their facial expressions every time I had watched that episode before, because it's actually the first time I notice that in the last scene (when everybody cheers, Maeve goes to Dermott, Sinbad follows her and they talk and hug), well right after, Maeve holds Sinbad's hand and caresses it gently. We even see Sinbad's eyes looking down when she does that, as if he was surprised (in a good way, of course) by this unexpected intimate and sweet gesture. It's the second time we see this, I think. The first time I remember was in Masked Marauders (last scene, Sinbad puts his hand on her shoulder to comfort her and she touches his hand). The episode follows the Village Vanishes, too. But this time, in this episode, she did it so ... lovingly. I can't believe I actually missed that every time I've watched it, before. I guess I was concentrated on her face, her concern, more than I cared for where her hands were ;D 40:57 and following ... www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdvrWvMdtsgReally sweet And I agree with what many have said in this topic's first pages. This episode shows their relationship had really evolved. Everything seemed so natural to them : the conversations near the Egg, when Sinbad talks to her before the fight to tell her to be careful, and they both lean in to kiss ... how he compliments her on her magic, how she falls on him after her spell had exhausted her, when he goes to see her while everybody is cheering at the end, the hug, the promises, and so on. I really think they were ''almost'' there, in their romantic relationship. Season 2 changed everything. We really saw their relationship blossom throughout season 1 and the last episode truly let the watchers hanging, for we could see they were almost a couple
