Soooo, Turok is ancient, Rumina is REALLY old, and Bryn is young...? I can understand how the Gryffin's Egg would drain magic, slowly, but at the same time, she'd have to get it back somehow for the last battle...if ever one was planned.

Rumina would return once she drains back her powers from a sorcerer who used her as his captive wench (according to Ed.) And then, to add to the conflicts, Turok would end up fighting Rumina because of Bryn, and even killing her and bringing Dermott back to human form

Hehe, agrees with the Soap Opera. ;D But you don't know how old Bryn is. For example, Turok could be 93, Rumina 82, and Bryn 79. ;D

Yes, exactly. Complex storylines are okay and all, but to the point where enemies become an enemy of each other is headache inducing, if not done the right way.

I sense you would not like my story as it develops.

You mean to say that in your story, Turok will eventually come across Bryn, a weakened Rumina and the Nomad Crew? (correct me if I'm wrong) Oh man, now there'll be some drama

Goodsauce. Can't wait to see it. Though I wonder if Rumi will then revolt against her sister and Sinbad, since her dad might be the ticket to restoring her powers, afterall.

Enemies and against enemies to form allies and them break into enemies again...too much drama there. And Bryn being 79....sorry even with her magic subconsciously making her young is to weird to think about considering she's flirting with men three times less her age?

Actually, yes, I had the Trickster in mind when I thought of this. Think of it more like Rumina fighting the dark side, as in dark side from Star Wars. Well, Rumina at 82 did too. ;D
