Apparantly, the viewers, if they had actually WATCHED the viewer ratings would have seen that the largest portion of their viewers were teenage girls who LIKED the assertive Maeve and Rumina, who LIKED the easy going Sinbad and crew, and who LIKED the magical aspect of the show. True, so very true! I'll admit, I didn't like Bryn to much as she was a replacement and didn't seem to have any true background personality at all, but I grew to like her with other authors and reading what Ed had planned. I guess everyone who's been a fan of Maeve and Sinbad didn't like Bryn. I myself hated her for many years. It really took me a long time to finally "forgive" her for replacing Maeve and even more to start and like her. However. All what has been said about the show and Season II is true.

Yup... I didn't like her at first either. It was horrible watching Sinbad turned into a Casanova. I actually wondered if he had forgotten her - or couldn't care less.
Season two simply doesn't have ANY link at all to season 1. Suddenly Maeve is replaced, Rumina and Turok 'vanished' into thin air. It was just horrible.

I always thought it was a bad idea to throw out Rumina and Turok simply because Bryn is conected to them. How were they going to resolve THAT in season 3?

Well, Rumina comes back as an old woman after losing her powers. Probably they would have that Trickster boy play her. And Turok would wear a mask to protect his scared face, so Harrison Ford could play him. @turok: You mean here or Season II?

alex: No I gues Turok was referring to Season1. I mean, it's true, although there are quite some scenes with Sinbad and Maeve there are still too few of them. If we had more season with the two we had way more material for vids ... or make a movie out of it. ;D Mala: Hm, well. Good point. Like Bryn said, Truok would have been easy 'caus of the scars... but Rumina... Guess she would have been there as a guest star in maybe one or two eps.

alex, you're idea about how they (producers) would solve all those problems....that would seem stupid to me. I could believe that they'd do it just to get out of paying Rumi and Turok.

Well, the Griffin's Egg was supposed to drain the black magic. And according to Ed, it did, but slowly. I will explain more in my next chapter, which I hope to get done within a week . And it is possible that Rumina is an old woman who maintained her youth through magic. With her magic dying out, her appearance to get older and older. And Julianne is not need to play the old Rumina. Ed also said that Turok wore a mask to cover his scared face from the Griffin explosion.

Sinbad probably kissed several women to forget about missing Maeve, since that emotion was basically plaguing the sailor. But yeah, I hated that trait of his, since it was another part of the blatant fanservice And question, would Turok in this rp look normal as he is in season 1, or will he look like "Two-Face"? And if Rumi is really an old hag, I wonder how old the real Turok's appearance would look like. *pictures a dying, paralyzed old man with a big white beard*
