Bryn glanced again at Rongar with a smile forming on her face, before returning her attention again to Caipra. She was glad that he seemed to care about her.

Caipra was really happy to see that Bryn really mattered in the eyes of others. They were protective, as they used to be with Maeve. The old sorceress hoped that nothing would ever change that. Not even the revelation of the true identity of Bryn. Because no one around this table knew about the young sorceress's past. Except DimDim's wife. The others knew what Bryn told them, they knew what she knew. Caipra had a dark secret, and she would keep it for as long as possible. When Bryn turned back to her after her short exchange with Rongar, Caipra said. "Listen. I don't want you to be worry about that right now. You have just arrived, you're probably hungry and tired. Sinbad should not delay to join us now. And I hope that Kriss will join us too if she has a little time."

The captain had been unaware of the rather serious conversation that had been going on in the past few minutes, since he entered the room only in time to hear his name mentioned. He had had a look at the rooms the tavern owner, Kriss, had shown to them and was feeling good enough about the place to pay a little extra for them if things really remained as nice and calm as the evening promised so far, therefore his mood was rather good when he stepped up to where his friends and crew had already found some seats. Their faces didn´t match the joyous occasion of finally being able to spend a relaxing evening with some good laughter and hopefully even better ale and he briefly wondered what they had been talking about that made them look so serious. He decided that if it was something that really mattered, they would fill him in and decided not to press the matter further now. With the concerned looks that he had gotten all over the last couple of days he had his own (even though wrong) suspicions about what his friends had been talking about and that suggestion was a strong enough reason to drop the matter and not dig into it.
"I hope she will." he said, grabbing for a chair and pulling it towards the table. "I took care of the beds, but I see you didn´t manage to take care of some ale yet." he added in a mock reproach, referring to the fact that the table was still empty. The slight glint in his eyes told he wasn´t serious about his scolding. Sinbad had decided to abandon serious. At least for now. He was tired of it for tonight.

Bryn saw Sinbad approaching and smiled at him. Matter of fact, she was also wondering when the captain would join them. She was pleased that Sinbad had found rooms for them.
"Oh, Sinbad, we were just talking about you. Glad you came to join us. And glad to see that you are in a good mood."

Talking about me? Am I surprised? Sinbad thought, but didn´t say aloud. He could very well match their concerned faces with the usual stuff he had heard of them these last few days. It wasn´t like he couldn´t understand them and part of their overly caring behaviour was his own fault, but that didn´t mean he liked it in the long run. Mostly because he didn´t like to feel weak. Or at least that was what he told himself.
"It will be all the better when we get something to eat." he said with a slight grin. "I trust my brother already ordered something."

Rongar grinned at him and waved his hand towards the orange grinds on the table. Yes, they had all they were waiting for was for the food to arrive!

Bryn chuckled. "Oh yes, he did. As a matter of fact, he was the first to mention about food. But you know him," she smirked, glancing at Doubar.

"Oh, it was all in the line of duty", the big man stated in response to the brunette's teasing, supressing a chuckle that was forming in his throat and trying hard to sound serious. But his stern face didn't last for long and soon after a broad smile formed on his lips. He still had not forgotten about what Caipra had told them just a few moments earlier, but decided that this maybe was not the time for worries and sorrow. They had just had enough of this lately, and having Sinbad finally join them seemed to be just like a hint for everyone to not get lost in such a mood again. Caipra would have a watchful eye on all of them and even if something did in deed happen that forced Bryn to use her powers, Doubar knew that she wouldn't be alone. All around this table would stand up for her without hesitating and that was all what really mattered now. It simply was no use to think about all the possible "if"s. "And I should mention", the first mate finally continued, pointing at the moor who was sitting oposite to him, "that Rongar here was a big help. He chose half of the delicious meal that is awaiting us."

"Good." Sinbad replied with a nod, stretching his legs under the table, a clear sign that he was relaxed now. As a habit, he had scanned the place when they had entered and later as well when he had had a look at the room, always alert to the possibility of trouble. But the coast looked clear so far with just a hand full of guests present besides them and no one interested in them more than in a way that a few quick glances at their arrival wouldn´t have satisfied curiosity. As a result, he allowed himself to let down his guard. He would sleep well tonight he hoped. "No matter what you ordered, I´m hungry enough to eat anything."

Rongar grinned and nodded at Doubar's words.
He watched Sinbad sit down, and his smile softened as his friend and captain seemed to relax for the first time in a really long time.
He glance back towards the keeper and saw that their order was nearly ready.
He poked Firouz and Doubar and nodded in the keepers direction.

Firouz was listening to Sinbad when he was poked by Rongar. His initial reaction was to say, "What?" But instead, he said nothing but looked at Rongar and then followed Rongar's eye to the keeper, who was almost ready with their food.

"Now that looks like something my belly has been waiting for for weeks", Doubar mumbled contently as his eyes followed Rongar's gaze in response to being nudged by the moor. The two of them had ordered plenty of fresh food earlier, making sure that everyone would find something they liked, and now as he saw the result, he tilted his head back to his dear friend, nodded at him and stated happily: "Good choice we made, right, Rongar?"

His crew was staring at the other end of the tavern like a pack of hungry wolves now, but Sinbad guessed that he was probably hardly any better and therefore stiffled the grin that had been forming on his face. Luckily, their order was ready now, because a young girl now emerged from the kitchen to start placing their food on the table. Fist came the meat, then the bread and the girl returned to the kitchen to get more. Sinbad gave her a friendly nod as he reached into his pocked to slip her one of the smaller coins as a tip. "Here we go." he said, pulling back his sleeves and turning his attention to the food. A number of plates were placed on the table that very moment.
