Inside Under the Crown of Ogotay

[Rongar]

Rongar eagerly took the fleshy fruit, an orange and two cuts of juicy mango, and followed Doubar back to the table the second mate had chosen.

He took the seat near the wall where he could observe everything around him without any problems and eyed Doubar with dread and even a little excitement in his eyes.

He shrugged and nodded his head with a nervous biting on his bottom lip. He had been nervous before and had shrugged it off thinking he was wrong, but now that Doubar had seen Caipra's look....

His gaze sharpened as his bit into his fruit. The sharp tasty juice did little to appease his worried thoughts though.

Hopefully Caipra would tell them sooner rather than later.

[Kriss]

Archer was walking upstairs to show the rooms. She turned her head just to make sure that captain was still following her.
"You will get three rooms as you wish" she stopped by one of doors "this is a single room" she opened the door, then pointed next two doors "this, and this are double rooms. I hope you will have a nice stay and here's your keys" Kriss gave Sinbad the keys and smiled.
"My room is on top floor, so if you need anything, know where to find me"

Firouz had remained silent, just nodding his head at Kriss and smiling briefly at her. Seeing that Doubar chose a table, he then went to join Doubar and Rongar. He was just happy to join his friends for some ale.

Bryn, having followed the others in but had said nothing but smiled at Kriss and her child while observing the conversation, started to follow Firouz. But she felt something and and turned her head at Caipra. Bryn frowned when seeing the sorceresses face and asked, "Is everything okay?"

[Caipra]

Caipra was startled when she heard Bryn talking to her.
"Yes! Yes, sorry I was thinking about ... something ..."
She smiled at the young sorceress.
"But it's nothing important don't worry! Let's go joining the boys, we shouldn't make them wait when it comes to eating!"
She moved to the table and said to the others.
"I hope you will enjoy your meal, Kriss's cook makes wonderful dishes!"

[Doubar]

As the two sorceresses finally arrived on their table as well, Doubar shifted slightly on his seat, giving some more space for the ladies to sit down, and smiled at them. He hadn't missed Caipra's tense face earlier and so hadn't Rongar. But when watching the elder woman now, there was no trace of that ... the first mate didn't even know how to name that expression she had worn: sorrow, confusion? ... well, whatever it had been, it wasn't there anymore. And so he decided to not comment on it but rather act as if he had not seen it at all.
"Well, judging from what I can see there", he finally answered good-naturedly while slightly pointing to the meal some people at the table next to them were eating, "I am fairly positive that we will enjoy it."

Bryn had frowned at Caipra's response but ignored it, smiled, and just followed her to the table. She chuckled at Doubar's comment.

[Rongar]

Rongar smiled in welcome; he smiled in agreement to Doubar's preditction about the food.

[Caipra]

Caipra looked at the crew, still smiling.
"I'm so glad to see you! I missed you all! A lot of things should have happened to you if you didn't take time to visit me over the last year!
Nothing changed here. It's always calm...except when you're here!
So, tell me, did you fight monsters, mystic creatures or magic? It's like a routine for you, isn't it?
"I hope they warned you about that when you have joined them!" She said to Bryn.

Bryn looked at Caipra, then looked at Doubar, then back at Caipra. She was unsure what to say. And was glad Sinbad wasn't here, because he probably wouldn't have wanted to answer Caipra's first question. "Yes, they sort-of told me. But mostly I figured out. I am used to fighting, so it did not bother me." She paused a little and petted Dermott, who was still perched on her arm. "And for your first question, yes a lot of things happened. We did all of those. We fought little men, a snake-haired woman, and giant ants. We also encountered the devil, Scratch, if that is his name."

[Doubar]

"At least he claims it is", Doubar half-snorted at Bryn's mentioning of the demon. That one memory certainly didn't count amongst those he liked to recall but just like many other things that had happened, one couldn't change that one anyways and so the first mate decided to shrugg it off and smile instead. Slightly then he lifted his gaze to look at Caipra again.
"And it never becomes routine. Every single one is an adventure.", he told the elder Lady with only the slightest sparkle in his eyes before addressing both the sorceresses again: "Now, why don't you two just sit down? The table is big enough for all of us." With a small grin lying on his face he then turned to the bird who was contently sitting on Bryn's gloved hand. "And we made sure there will be something for you to eat as well", he whispered to him and winked.

Bryn looked at Doubar and gave a little chuckle. Turning to Caipra, she motioned, "Please, after you."

[Caipra]

Scratch...This name was very familiar. But she preferred not to talk about him. She didn't want to bring the bad mood around this table.
She accepted Doubar's invitation and smiled to Bryn.
"Thank you."
Then she sat next to the first mate and said.
"I hope there will be something to eat for Bryn and me. I'm his best customer, after all, I come here almost every day!"

[Doubar]

Doubar smiled as Caipra sat down next to him. Intently he listened to her words before nodding to what she had said. "Well, Rongar and I ordered plenty of food. And we made sure there'll be lots of fresh fruit and vegetables as well so I'm confident it'll be enough." Looking at the sorceress for a moment then, he paused shortly before going on with a broad smile on his lips. "And we can always order more."

[Caipra]

Caipra laughed.
"Don't worry my dear, this will be enough! Besides, I'm not very hungry."
