Rongar grinned at the serving girl happily.
After what seemed like hours, he'd be able to eat!!!
He placed two plates before Caipra and Bryn and offered them a bowl of grapes.
He quickly grabbed a loaf of bread, tore it in two, place one on his plate and the other back in the middle of the table; then he grabbed a hunk of grilled meat and a few dried meats followed by a recently dropped off bowl of fruits.
He loved dates and strawberries the most!

Bryn chuckled at Sinbad's cheerful expression. Then she noticed Rongar placing her plate before her. "Oh, thank you, Rongar." She took some of the grapes and placed them on her plate.
The girl came with their ale. "Sorry to keep you waiting. I hope everything is okay."
"Everything looks fine, thank you," Bryn told the girl and smiled at her.

He smiled and nodded back at her as he grabbed the bread and tore a piece off and placed it in his mouth.
It was warm and soft as it all but fell apart in his mouth. He closed his eyes and sighed. He LOVED coming to port. The food was always grand after a long journey.

Firouz nodded thanks to the young waitress. After she left, he looked at the others. "Well, I guess we can start. But first I want to thank Sinbad again for bringing us together. None of this would happen if it wasn't for him." He raised his glass. "To Sinbad, and this great life he brought to us."

Bryn smiled and raised her glass. "Aye. To Sinbad and the good life."

With his mouth still full, Rongar raised his glass along side Firouz and Bryn's and tried to smile as he quickly swallowed the bread.

"Aye, to my little brother...", Doubar agreed, joining his dear friends in their praise. Taking his ale, he then liftet his right hand, raising the glass and gesturing towards their captain with it. Even though he wasn't sure whether with all what had just happened lately, Sinbad would approve of this at all, the first mate felt that they all here owed him just enough to grant the sailor this little appraisal. And after all, despite everything what they - and most of all the younger one himself - had had to go through the previous year, Doubar didn't want to miss any moment of their life at sea. For a short moment the sea-bear just let his eyes linger on his brother's face, before he added a more light-heartedly: "... and life itself!"

Sinbad gave a smirk at that and it looked like an honest one even though it didn´t entirely feel so. After a short pause, a hesitation that probably noone had noticed anyway, he grabbed for his pint of ale and raised it to let it clink with the others. "To life." he agreed with a nod before he drank. He knew the good intentions behind his friends´ words, but nonetheless, they tasted a bit bitter.
Just in time he reminded himself of not taking too much ale in a gulp. Even though he felt like getting drunk, maybe this wasn´t the best idea. Not to mention that getting drunk wasn´t really him. On the other hand, who would rebuff him for it anyways? Inwardly he sighed, but he didn´t let it show. He was good at that by now.

The crew had regained his smile since their captain had returned. Caipra watched them in silence and smiled when she saw their happy faces in front of all the dishes filled with food that the waitress just brought. They were like children who have just received a gift. When Rongar placed a plate before her, she thanked him with a nod. Then she raised her glass with the others and answered Doubar. "Yes, To life itself! Enjoy it well while you're still young!" She noticed the slight hesitation that Sinbad had before answering his brother but she didn't say anything and drank in her turn. It's only after a sip that she remembered what was in her glass. Ale. "wow, I'm not used to drink this kind of thing anymore! I think I'll stick to water if you would let me, I'll be back in a minute." She got up and walked toward the bar where Kriss was.

Bryn watched Caipra leave. She sensed that the sorceress may not just be going to get a cup of water. But she shrugged it off and returned to the crew.

Kriss was sitting at her armchair near the bar with Aniel on her keens. She was thinking and observed the crew. Handsome captain, three more guys and one pretty lady. That girl didn't look as a sailor or a warrior for Kriss. But they all seemed to be the really good friends.
Archer saw that Caipra was coming to her. She smiled at old woman. "Why have you left your friends?"

"I just wanted water. I avoid ale and all those kind of thing as much as possible!" Caipra laughed and sat next to Kriss. "I wanted at the same time take the opportunity to talk a little with you. I'm glad you've finally met Sinbad and his crew. You know, I didn't expect to see them at all. I even talked to you about them yesterday without thinking that you could meet them the next day. But I'm so glad they're there now. I really missed them. " She cast a glance toward the table where the crew was eating and chatting. "Did everything go well with Sinbad just before?" She asked her friend.

"Hey! Why didn't you tell me that you were talking about famous Captain Sinabd yesterday?" Archer said with little, ostensible indignation in her voice and laughed. She heard about Sinbad before, even before she and Aniel had arrived to Basra. She was really glad to meet him. "Everything went well, don't worry." Kriss smiled at Caipra. " I wanted to talk with you as well..."

"Famous Sinbad! Oh, It's true that I tend to forget that he's well known everywhere he goes! "Caipra laughed too. "What do you want to tell me? Is it about Aniel? How is he today? " The old sorceress looked at the little boy who looked in good shape.

Kriss smiled at her son "Oh no, not about Aniel this time. He is fine today, he's just scaring my guests" she turned at Sinbad and laughed. "I want to talk with you about one my guest which Aniel hasn't scared yet..." Her voice was very secretive to got all Caipra's attention. Kriss was thinking about that strange girl upstairs.
