Haha. Aye, in some weird way that's true. x) But anyways, guess either mankind finds a solution or earth itself will (just like in Sinbad's joke: "oh, well, don't worry. It'll pass" ;D )

Not funny. Killing us all won't solve anything. And animals will die in the process. In my opinion, we, humans, are also animals. I theorize that all animals are actually human but just trapped in animal form, just like Dermott. What gives us the right to determine their fate?

Nothing. Especially considering that basically we all have the same roots. We just happened to develop language and a more active conscience.
Btw, I read somewhere, but that´s ages ago, that, had the dinosaurs not died out, it might be them to rule the planet now,as in, having a conscience and culture etc. Sounds plausible o me since we´ve come a long way in the last 65 milion years.

Can't you talk to animals. I talk to them all the time.
And we have not been around 65 million years. Not even close.
Anyway, back to my idea about releasing a chemical into the atmosphere, this was actually one idea from Star Trek Voyager in which they released nanophrobes into the planet's atmosphere to remove the radioactive pollution. Can we do something similar? We have nanotechnology and genetic engineering. Snythetic chlorophyl maybe? Come on guys. I need your imput. I am not the only scientist here, am I?

Well, I do talk to my hamster. But I just get paddling paws and sniffling whiskers s a response No, I know. I was referring to 65 millions as in roughly the time when the dinosaurs died out which was when mamals just started to play a role. And seeing that there has been an evolution from very simply rodet like mamalsinto several branches one of which became us makes it quite plausible that dinosaurs migt have evolved their brain capacity more had they lasted. Well, sorry to disappoint you but my knowledge in physics and chemistry are rather rudimentar as in almost non existant

I agree with Doubar. The first goal we have to reach is a global awareness. But if the situation is so fatal as dipicted by Firouz I guess there's very little we can do alone.
I think everyone should start from little things, things we can do by ourselves, like recycling, or selecting food and product we buy (eco-biological items).
Sometimes I suspect there are a lot of tecnologies which could save the planet, but are taken hidden by governments, because they could use free raw materials like sun and wind, which wouldn't provide them enough incomes.
In Italy for example, we had the luck, for the past 20 years, to live without nuclear power stations. We decided it, with a referendum after Chernobyl. And this let us not produce radioactive waste. But now, our actual government, decided by himself (without a popular referendum) to come back to nuclear energy. When everyone else is thinking instead in terms of solar and photovoltaic systems.
All this situation really upset me.

I for one don´t get why we still rely on nuclear power. Germany has power stations too even though not overly many I think. Why not concentrate on water, sun and fire? Another one of the things we might have to learn the hard way.
Near the village I come from we have wind energy wheels. Very practical.

Yes. Definitely. I couldn't agree more Lets change the subject for a moment, I have a picture to share ;D It's Mariah Shirley in one of her previous roles, in the tv show VR Troopers, where she played a villain. Now, I've found this photo long time ago, so I don't remember which is Mariah. Perhaps the one dressed in red? What do you think?

I like to draw fan arts, sometimes original art too. (Deviant Art is one of my favoutite places on the internet) But I'm really bad at doing anatonmies and shading

Deviantart rules. Btw, this place has far too little AoS fanart I totally suck at anatomy sketches. the only thing I halfway succeed at are portraits but for those even I use a grid so I have somethng to check proportions.
