Really, I heard VISTA take so much memory to operate, it slows the computer down.

Could be. I would recommend getting a workstation with Windows instead of VISTA, just to be on the safe side, if you can.  And hey, no kicking!  *has no respect for those people who blame their computer* It is not the computer's fault. |

*shrugs* Actually, I never used VISTA. I only heard that without a faster processor, it can get slow or jammed. What is the year of your laptop?

I bought it about 2 years ago and then it was pretty new, but not the top notch model. It was a special offer.

Got it last year. Has duel core so maybe that helps. *shrugs* And I'm not using any super mega complex programmes anyways, so ... *looks at Sinbad's post* Hehe, so we both thought Firouz was referring to us? ;D |

*adds something to the Vista-thing* But if you really want to do some special work with your PC or ... heaven forbid ... do things Microsoft should know nothing about, you really shouldn't get vista. All the nerds hate it. ;D |

@doubar: Probably. Duel Core was designed to run software which Pentium could not handle. Did you know that since you have a Duel Core processor, you can run Macintosh graphics program on your PC. And glad to be a nerd.  |
