Heheheeeeeeeeeeee ;D ;D ;D ;D yup it's very funny,, never thought the big fellow may fear spiders, but i also didn't forget his face expressions and reactions in The Rescue when the crew was left with some poisoning reptile ;D ;D ok it may be poisoning but i couldn't stop thinking it looks so small and pay its poison little attention, all what i get in mind the whole 4 of them were that afraid of this tinny thing while they faced big monsters before! ;D by that i laughed at all of them not only Doubar, ;D they looked funny, i know Doubs your fear, which leaves me thinking you meant your Doubar here ... is it? or Doubar in general ? in both cases,, very nice idea

I must admit, that I am not sure, from which episode is this shot. It is very funny without doubts. The Rescue: The size was not so essential as the fact, that bitting by it could have killed them. It was a funny scene. The best parts were the transmission the creature from Rongar to Firouz ("Thank you, my friend.") and Maeve's line "I am frozen!!" And similar funny scene was in The Village vanishes, how Sinbad got the rat by Maeve. He looked a little disgusted. And Firouz in the Siren's song when Maeve asked him for pulling one of the rats out of the barrel, he did not also look very excited

Heeeehehe, I'm glad you like it. ;D What's better than sharing some fun? ;D @ban: Awwww, I adore your new av! @teti: Haaaaahaha, yeah, somehow being afraid of spiders doesn't suit this big man at all, right? ;D But it makes it be just the funnier. ;D I guess this is neither supposed to be the show's Doubar nor "mine" though. It just is a fun thought and something I came up with when I saw the pic. If anything, you could imagine that this is exactly what would happen were our DL crew to meet one day. Lol! Aye, you better make sure there are none of the li'l hunters around! xD manche & Teti: Yeah, I think it was rather the fact that the spider was potentially venomous that scared the crew. At any case, manche: The shot belongs to the ep "The Bully". 'T was the scene when they freed Rongar from the quicksand. feliciadai: Thanx again for uploading these awesome caps! ;D

I had this suspicion, but according the title in the bubble I thought that they were looking at some insects.

manche: No, the speechbubble and caption have no relation to the actual ep at all. It's all about finding a funny text for a funn shot. ;D

I must admit, that I am not sure, from which episode is this shot. i wasn't sure of it too,,, i guess me being away from watching the episodes for months now isn't quite helping yeah i'm awfully aware of this, no doubt, but what i meant that in spite of realizing this fact i still look for the size ;D can't help with it......... sure this little reptile can kill if it bites anyone but why the producers insisted to use it in time they could simply use ........ a snake!! it's sorta ... more ... accepted and their reactions wouldn't be THAT funny yet it would still reserve some fun too,, looking to the scene i just stare to the tiny creature and completely drop that fact how can it kill easily behind my back,,, just stare to it .. so little one and their reactions were priceless like a bunch of kids, seeing they encountered monsters before and more imaginary very serious situations i think they should act .... kinda more professionally ....... and i tell you the creature size isn't any helping in this case ;D ;D agree totally with you ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D i could/ still can NEVER stop laugh everytime i rewatch this scene or remember it ;D and don't forget their childish ways to blow the wind towards it,,,,,,,,,,,, all of them ... the 4,,,, they are just big kids in this scene ...... ;D ;D very non realistic , hahahaaaaaaaaaaaa ;D ;D ;D ;D for me -though i thought for a while he looked disgusted indeed- i find it after that that he was more like.. afraid or scared either from the tiny squirrel or from Maeve's mysterious magical ability to chat with beasts -that wondered him since their first meeting- and in either ways it makes it even funnier, or simply he have a little fear from rodents -which was prove to be wrong during the show- also i get the impression that at this time -till this moments- Sinbad simply hadn't deal with any animal in an intimate way like having a pet once or get close to some of them previously -which was later in S2 improved, seeing him deal perfectly with horses and so, thanks here goes to Dermott i guess, after a complete 2 years, this is expected- which leaves his reaction going for fear from 'being-so-close-to-an-animal-and-don't-know-what-on-Earth-should-i-do-exactly' as it's his first time and he wasn't even expected or prepared to it ;D i know he's the mighty captain sailing the whole world,, but it could be,,, after all facing a demon or a monster doesn't include being so close/intimate to it but tricking or killing it only which seemed to be easier for him than petting a squirrel ;D ;D ;D Maeve was able to put him in discomfort as always and out of his usual smug captain incharacter even unintentionally as she was only mourning the loss of her brother ;D ;D ;D oh really ? now this i didn't notice as i always skip this scene, i don't remember exactly what they saw in the barrel but i wasn't optimistic about what it could be so i always skip it, afraid it may be something i fear of, along with another scene in the same episode but this weird!! why would the scientist act like that ? may be he feared of being bite by the many of the rats ?

What's better than sharing some fun? ;D so true indeed ;D ;D yep, agree it's funnier that way ;D ;D i see it's spontaneous and best ideas are those ones hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, ohhhh i just can imagine *our* Doubar and *our* Sinbad in this situation ;D ;D but out of characters,,, i can seriously imagine the situation coz i have similar reaction for something else i feel you really, and i'm sorry we have it both of us still, just if we can work on this amazing meeting one day, care nothing about spiders, i'll make sure they vanished from where we'll be and make the area clear of them,,,

manche, now i remember something! in Hell House i believe Sinbad shouted in fury that he hated *bats* which are rodents too! could he really had a previous fear from the rodents then just grew to use to them but still hated them that much ? i don't believe his fear,,, but hate may be originated from it though! still i don't remember exactly when or where but i guess he for sure appeared in some random scene seeing rats or something -i mean he should have encounter them, right? in old house or street or so- and he didn't flinch just complete his way neglecting them! what about the barrel scene in Siren's Song ? does he appeared to be ... afraid of the rats when he saw them ? or just surprised ?

There was the bunch of rats in the barrel. Maeve said that it is a sign and Firouz wanted to know why she is thinking it. She told him: "Pull one of them." And Firouz looked disgusted and stepped back. And the scene from The rescue with the attempt of the crew to blow the reptile it was not really the best idea and very suprisingly it was created by Firouz, the most clever member of the crew. And the next great scene with the animal (Dermott in this case) was the scene from the beginning of The king Firouz, when Firouz was angry that Dermott sat down on his invention and the rest of the crew had fun of him.

@teti: ;D ;D ;D ;D And true that: often enough spontaneous ideas are the best ones. ;D LOL! Yeah, that's quite a mental image, isn't it? ;D ;D xD Ow, and thank you, sweetheart! You're a star. *hugs* And I in turn will make sure there are none of the other tiny creatures around, aye? <3 Aye, that would be beyond amazing! And who knows? When we're all working and earning money one day, we might just be able to do it.

@doubar:
Thank you. The actress is just amazingly beautiful. It's not unreasonable when they call her "ancient beauty".
You know what is the first thought came to my mind when I saw the pic? I saw we (DL crew) are sitting on deck when you suddenly jump up and run away before I understand what is happening. Then I gape as I see the big spider. The captain tries to calm you down. And the crew try to catch the little demon. I tell you that it would create a mess on the ship if it happened. ;D ;D ;D
- Be careful it is running toward you. - AH!!!! *tries to stop it by anything she has in hand* - Don't hurt it. - Where is it? - Over there. - Oh my gosh. It's so fast. - Oh!!!! - Hey, you shouldn't avoid it. We're trying to catch it. - I'm scared. - I think we make it dizzy. Look how it run. - HELP ME!!! It climes on my foot. - Ok. I catch it. haha. *applause* Captain's comment: - Oh my gosh, my crew. That many people to catch a spider. How heroic they're. First mate: - At least they succeed.
