Whoa, I never new about all this. I mean, that Maeve and Dermott were orphans and that they were raised by a woman called Dana. And that Bryn's mother was named Bri. It fits though (with Bryn and Bri). Oh, and as for Rumina: I googled it and the net came up with the fact that Rumina was Latin - and in fact a Goddess. *quotes* Rumina is a Roman Goddess of Breastfeeding and Women, Who causes the milk to flow. Her name is related to an old Latin word for breast, rumis or ruma, and translates to "the Nourisher", "She Who Breastfeeds" or "Mother's Breast". Rumina was the protectress of all nursing young, human and animal both.
She is a very ancient Goddess, and with Her consort or male counterpart Rumino was said to protect milk-bearing cows and their calves. source: www.thaliatook.com/OGOD/rumina.htmlWhoa.

In the meaning of the word they were; in that they had no parents.
I'm lead to believe their mother died (somehow-it's your decision how) and their father simply left them with Dana and never came back....until he wanted (I guess money) to sell Maeve into marriage.

Er, no, not married. Her father sold her to-be married. She took Dermott (hawk form) and left before the wedding ceremony.

I think I have found Maeve's scream which they dubbed over the actress in the Sacrifices.
The scream occurs about 1:17 in this clip of the Sacrifice
In King Firouz, she calls sinbad, and the few breaths after the sound rather like the few breaths she takes before she actually falls over board. It occurs about 8 seconds in.
I don't know but this is as close I have heard to actually figuring it out. The sacrifice her voice is louder, probably enhance by the tech guys or something. What do you think of the comparison?
