To watch home and inform him about the happenings over there. Despite having been banished, Dim-Dim still wanted to protect his homeland from the dark forces. But that happened before Maeve joined the crew right? Because if Dim Dim and Caipra still were in contact now, Sinbad would want to use the pool too. Yes, I was referring to the "Isle of Dawn years"

DimDim cannot contact Caipra in his dimension. It would take a lot of power to do so. He had a pool on the Isle of Dawn in which he stayed in contact with Caipra.

Sounds rather logic to me.

okay, I have a very important question!! Sinbad and his crew will soon arrive in Basra so they will meet me. the question is: Do I know Bryn personaly, I think I do because in her story, Bryn wrote that she spent some times with Dim-Dim before Maeve's arrived. So maybe Caipra was there too (they were not on the Isle of down...). So I think it would be cool if I knew her...I'll have to try not to reveal anything to anyone...or Maybe I could tell her that I know her...I don't know! what do you think? Bryn? the others?

I was looking through the bios again and found something I was referring to in my last pm. This is from Bryn´s bio
One of the villagers fatally wounded Bryn. Master Dimdim, seeing Bryn as an potential aid, snatched Bryn just before she died and healed her. He kept Bryn under his care and treated Byrn as his own daughter. He put the rainbow bracelet on Bryn. Bryn, having no memory of her past, grew up learning the white arts and the goodness in people.
To me, that makes it look like Dim Dim merely rescuing someone who he saw as being in danger. Magical potential yes, but it is mentioned neither in Dim Dim´s nor in Bryn´s bio that Dim Dim knew who she really was. I think she´s always been sort of the woman with no past and thinking about all this again I think it should stay like that because that gives us some interesting possibilities and advantages.
If neither Dim Dim nor Caipra know who Bryn really is...
1) Rumina would be the only one to know. That would give her some power for intrigues later which is a very interesting thing because that could give Rumina some power to use when she finds appropriate (and possibly when it´s inappropriate for the crew ;D ) 2) We keep up the mystery a bit. If Caipra knew there might be very tiny hints that could be difficult to ignore. I know this could happen because rpg characters tend to be a tad unpredictable in such things and it would lead the focus of the game towards Bryn´s past at a too early point where we are still concentrating on the part of the plot that leads to the crew´s reunion with Maeve. If Bryn´s past comes in at that point it would be too much stuff to handle all at once. We should keep out the risk of that happening. 3) There is the possibility of a freer, more balanced interaction between Bryn and Caipra. If Caipra has no idea about her bad roots so to say, things might turn out more positively for now.

...or Maybe I could tell her that I know her...I don't know! I think we should definitel avoid that. Naturally Bryn would ask questions and dig deeper, because she would very likely see Caipra as the first person ever who can tell her something about her past and then we would be heading into a different direction from what we have in mind for now. I was just thinking that maybe Caipra could find out about Bryn´s past in some way so we can have her play with that knowledge but that should definitely be at a later point. Right now, it´s too early to risk the revelation of Bryn´s roots.

these 3 reasons are good reasons! I agree But Caipra can at least knows that Bryn was dim-dim's "pupil". without knowing anything else.

Yup. Since Bryn does not know Caipra we can leave it open whether Caipra knows what Bryn looks like though, cause maybe Dim Dim described her to Caipra.

Okay. 1. Yes, Caipra knows who Bryn is. Dim-Dim took up Bryn and brought unconscious body to his house with Caipra. Knowing that Bryn was the daughter of Turok, which is why he thought she would be a useful aid, took her to the Isle of Dawn where he taught her white magic. Caipra also knows that Bryn is Turok's daughter. Dim-Dim never told Bryn, because he wanted her to change to the good. Bryn was unconscious so she never met Caipra. 2. I think Caipra should not tell Bryn either, because it may affect her becoming good. Caipra can tell Bryn that Dim-Dim has told her about Bryn, but do not tell Bryn anything else.

No offense to Bryn but...shoulder length brown hair, brown eyes, and short aren't necessarily specific descriptions for a person....that'd describe more than HALF the population of that side of the world!! LOLOL Hope he would have given her more than just that!
