Rumina, Sinbad Those two are beautiful. Kristin Kreuk is perfect in the role of a young Rumina. She has the same icy blue eyes. @talya When Legend of the seven seas was released I've instantly thought that it was inspired by AOS in many ways. That Sinbad reminds me of Zen in season2, and Eris.......she is identical to Rumina!!! Or maybe it's just my impression. ;D ;D

Really, I always thought it was inspired by Season I. Sinbad is like the boyish Zen. Marina is like Maeve. She is like Maeve too. And she has Maeve's temper. Eris looks and is a lot like Rumina. She even falls in love with Sinbad, just like Rumina.

Yeah, I wonder, are they fans of the show? Ed said that he hoped he inspired someone who may say, "Hey I liked that show. Maybe I can make a movie based on it." Well, here you have it, although I wonder if there was copyright infringement involved. Taking someones idea without permission is in-the-sense stealing. But Ed said he wanted that.

Dreamworks' Sinbad reminds me of season 2 because of his pirate attitude, the long beard, and his outfits darker than the ones of boyish Sinbad. But he also has the joyful and playful attitude of season 1. In my opinion he is a blend of those two. Marina has Maeve's temper and her physical appearance is a mixture of Talya's and Bryn's. Eris = Rumina. Proteus .....(don't laugh for this ;D), made me think of Tetsu. Because his hair-cut ;D ;D ;D, and because of his obsession for honor and rules. There is also a sailor who is identical to Mustapha. And even a dog .. Yes, O think that they definitely watched AOS. But Ed Naha himself was inspired by Ray Harryhousen movies, so we can't be sure.
