@teti: Yayyyyyyy!!!! It was supposed to make you laugh. Awesome that it worked.  ;D ;D ;D and yes indeed it did successfully  great work it's my pleasure  and who doesn't love her ? actually the one can't just help himself not loving her from this only single episode  the actress is amazingly charming ah, but what did they kept from S1 except for Tetsu ? nothing,, nobody .... and to tell the truth, it wouldn't be much fun of having her without Maeve!!! the secret remains in the triangle S/T/M .... the mute-ovbious jealousy between both ladies was what made the chemistry between the three and the atmosphere that attracted everyone, but Bryn couldn't do that from Mariah side as actress and the character itself of Bryn,,,, she wouldn't have this chemistry so the triangle wouldn't take place,,, i feel sorry to think it was useless to appear Talya without any plan to re-appear Maeve!   oh, just take your time with replies,,,, i know you're busy  don't worry |

@teti: I iz happy. ;D ;D And as for Talya: Aye, she's been there in only one ep, but somehow she instantly won me over. She's just so... dunno, cute in her very own weird way. ;D I mean, she betrays the crew, she almost steals the Nomad from them (though I guess she was just joking... though then again, knowing Talya... >.> ... <.< ... xD ) and yet you cannot help but love her. ;D Indeed it's such a pity that apart from Tetsu and Scratch nobody returned in S2. Especially Caipra would have been an amazing addition - in regards to Bryn and her magic and everything. But I am aware that's a different topic so back to Talya: It's true, there would have been something missing without Maeve being there to be all annoyed and jealous. But honestly? I still think it would have been fun if Sinbad had reacted the same way as in S1 - i.e. being slightly flustered about her hints and everything. And actually I could imagine Bryn's reaction to Talya to be quite cute. ^^ I can just see her raise her eyebrows in this amused gesture, and Doubar & Sinbad for sure would have loved to tell the little one of their adventures with Talya. So yeah, it would have been different but I still think it could have been fun. Although maybe it would have been better to take place in the not-shot S3 because that was meant to be more light-hearted again, which would also have been a better background for Talya to re-appear as the fun character she is. manche: Yay, that's so great to know! That's exactly what the vid was meant to do. |

@doubar: Yes. His gesture at the end of Hell House gives us the feeling that there will be a change in SS3. I see that Sinbad already accepted the fact that he might will never see Maeve again. That action likes he said goodbye to Maeve. Something in Bryn's eyes might remind him of Maeve but the same time he knew she wasn't there and might will never be there in the future. He knew he had to get over the pain to live like he had before she had left him. He said that he would be fine. He might talk to Bryn but also talked to the absent woman and talked to himself. No matter how the future would be, he would be fine. What I said above is already my ending for the show.  ;D I write the fic because I love M/S not that I don't satisfy with the ending even I don't like the season 2. I love the idea Sinbad continues his endless journey without Maeve beside until the last day of his life. Exactly. It's just not fair for Bryn. Poor her. Yeah, I too see that we have two different Sinbad in two seasons. Sometime I watch ss2 and I wonder how come Maeve loves that kind of men.  I sometime tried to find the plot where I can have two Sinbad for two sorceress because you're right, Sinbad in SS2 seem to fits Bryn more than Maeve. I still can't think of anything like that and even don't want to think anymore because in my universe Bryn already has someone to care for. But I read the very lovely theory in Vietnamese forum. That's Sinbad already died after he jumped after Maeve in that storm. The one we see in SS2 is just someone looks like Sinbad. Sinbad had asked that man to take care of his crew and look for Maeve so the stranger lived as if he was real Sinbad and fell in love with Bryn. Real Sinbad and Maeve both died in the storm. Totally agree with you on this one. B/S fans treat Maeve just like us (M/S fans) treat Sinbad's first love. It's very easy to understand because with them Maeve is just the woman in sinbad's past and no longer be mentioned again. But M/S fans just can't accept B/S that easy so the slow speed is the only way M/S fans can accept the relationship between B/S. And with the fics with Maeve there and will have the happy ending for B/S I think M/S fans can solve the problem in the way where the one who gets hurt is Maeve is also better than B/S fans. I read a fic about B/S before. It hurt me deeply and until it still haunts me. I gave the fic to my friend and told her to read. I asked her what she would do if she was Sinbad. She told me she would save the one who was her friend and died with the one she loved. It's true. If it was me I would also do the same. Sinbad chose Bryn over Maeve doesn't much different with thrusting a knife into Maeve's heart. Maeve didn't die because of the wounds, she died because of Sinbad's choice. Sinbad could only choose one of them and he chose the one he loved. He let Maeve died in the way which is not acceptable. That story is reason I made the vid wait for you in the rain. But of course, then I changed my vid a little to make it be more beautiful and more hope for M/S because I don't want to hurt M/S fans. If I had ended the vid at the moment Maeve fell overboard again, I would have broken the heart of so many M/S fans. About the new vid. You made the vid with that song already??? Hhaha. It's very funny. I like it. But I don't agree with Bryn. I still think "what you don't know" is better than this one. But no matter, they're all good. I like them both. |

I must admit, that I did not like Bryn at first. But over years I started to like her, she is not worse than Maeve she is only different. Her relationship with Sinbad was different than the relationship with Maeve, there were indications the relationship between them, but with Maeve it looked more deeply, I am not sure, how describe it. But it was not the mistake of Bryn, it was because of the change of Sinbad's character in the second season. I am still a big fan of Maeve and Sinbad, for Bryn would be more fitting Doubar in my opinion (there were also some indications of the relationship between them). For me, the ideal couples would be Maeve and Sinbad, Doubar and Bryn, Firouz and Velda (and would be great find someone for poor Rongar) at the end of the Tv series.

I tried the small experiment with my last video. It is almost same, but with the usage of different songs and the end is a little extended. Maybe these songs are more suitable, I am not sure... to Doubar: I read your comment on youtube. I did not plan the partition of the clip before, but you have truth, each song describes different side of this show. Oh my gosh. It took me an hour to upload this video on Youtube. Here's my new vid. I had the inspiration from Doubar's vid last week but I had no song which could be used. Yesterday, I found this song. It fits my mood, my feeling and the idea in my mind so I decided to make a vid with it. It's sad so don't watch if it's not your type. No rain this afternoon. No rain this afternoon. The golden sunlight is on the streets. The flying flowers are in my eyes. The autumn peacefully goes by. I have slept for too long, Oversleep on the street, alone. The rain is the song, rain is the time, And you’re the one I long for all of my life. No rain this afternoon, Only I and the streets sing the pointless song. manche: Just watched your vid and must say, I really like it a lot! Especially the first half was just awesome! I really enjoyed the happy atmosphere of that part. The second part was really well done, too, and the song well chosen. It's just that I slightly preferred the happy moments over the serious ones. ^^ Thanx for sharing this! Oh, and again sorry for not leaving a review on YT but I had to use the unblocker again and thus could not comment or fav or collect. Ow, same here though about Bryn! I remember, when the second season aired for the first time I didn't like her at all. Just because Maeve was gone and she was there instead. But now after all those years have passed I love her as a character to no end! She's such a sweet girl, and her calm nature makes for a great addition to the crew. In many aspects she's totally different from Maeve, but in their core traits (concerning things as loyalty, respect for any living thing and her attitude) both are very much alike which again makes me think that the two could have actually been great friends had the show had both of them in it. And as for any relationships: Aaaah, another one. ;D You just listed the pairings that are my would-be-fav as well. I totally love the idea of Sinbad/Maeve and Doubar/Bryn (you may have noticed that already >.> ), and actually according to rumours there were plans of a second sorceress joining the crew and falling for Doubar before Maeve was scratched from the plot. As far as we know the idea was never that fleshed out though, and the new character wasn't Bryn per se yet, but you get the idea. However, the idea obviously got ditched because things changed not only regarding to the cast but also regarding what the producers wanted and so on. But I, too, sometimes think that at the beginning of S2 they weren't quite sure yet whether and who to pair Bryn up with. She certainly has some nice moments with Doubar, too, although, granted, they are by far less obvious than her scenes with Sinbad are. Hum, and Rongar... aye, he's the only one without any possible love interest whatsoever. Well, he and Dermott, actually. But I guess either of them would just meet a lovely lady at some point during the Nomad's travels.
@ban: Just watched your vid and left a commment on YT! It definitely is heart-breaking and so sad, but at the same time it's also incredibly beautiful. You pretty much showed Maeve's POV on what happens in and after my vid. And it really makes me feel so bad for her, even if at the same time I cannot help but notice how sweet Bryn is in those scenes you chose and how she does Sinbad good in this tough time.

Ban: I have a similar feeling as Doubar, I feel bad for Maeve, but the scenes with Bryn are really great. These women are both great but each of them in a different style.
Doubar: Thank you. I did not plan the usage of the most serious moments from the Tv series at first, but I decided to change it, your comment gave me this idea. I hesitated over the usage of some scenes (for example the fight between Maeve and Doubar from Trickster or posessed Firouz from the Return of the Ronin). Those were scary scenes, but great done (I remember the first watching of the scene with the fight Maeve and Doubar, it was horrible for me, I hoped that they wake up during the fight). And i think that we can find a few not so much happy moments in the first part also (when Sinbad watched the picture of Maeve swept from the deck or Maeve and Doubar's dissapearences).
The rumours about the relationship between Bryn and Doubar sound very interestingly. It is shame if the initial plans were altered. And the meeting between Maeve and Bryn, it would have been interesting. I have started to write the story, which will be containing this meeting also.

manche: Oh, but it was a good idea to add those serious moments as well. Because they were part of the series and they show that there was actually more to it than just the Disney-ish atmosphere it was said to have. Even in S1 we had quite some tough moments, and I for one think it's important to not forget about them. So in that regard, I really appreciate you creating that second part of the vid! Indeed some of the things that happened (like Firouz being possessed, Maeve and Doubar fighting) were tough, though there's even darker scenes than that - I'm thinking of werewolf-Doubar and Rongar's ordeal when he returned to Bollnah, but in the end life is just like this as well - it's just not sunny and bright days but also dark and gloomy ones. Concerning the rumours: aye, it's such a shame. Telling from all what I heard the initial plans for S2 were quite lovely, what with Maeve staying at Caipra's for some time to study and become stronger and her and Bryn helping each other and stuff. But alas, that never came to pass. Wow, but you started writing a story? That's awesome! If you'd be to share it one day, either here or anywhere else, I'm sure you'd have quite a bunch of readers stopping by. =)

I have started with it, I plan the big story about the war of the crew with Rumina, Turock and Scratch, there will be connection with the episode Sacrifice, I'm going to bring some of the old characters from the series, for example Omar, Casib, Belkor... I will upload the story in small posts for longer time, I must prepare at the final state exam at the present time. And Doubar you have the great new avatar. |

Wow, that sounds awesome, Manche! So I take it you start off after the series ended? That's great. But I can imagine it takes a lot of time to write all of that down. Especially when you're having exams. Hey, would you mind me asking what it is you're studying? If you don't feel comfortable sharing it here in the open, then we can just switch over into the welcome chat in the member's area (and if you'd rather not answer at all, that's just as fine, nobody's expected to share something they'd rather keep private )..
