@teti: Eeeeeeeeh, thank you SO much for such a wonderful review.
I'm so super happy to know you like it!!!!
Hahaha, and really, is it that dangerous? ;D Haha, I guess I didn't know just what potential this vid held. ;D But truth be spoken, it's just what I see happening in that season - on a more realistic and conciliable level than what the show gave us. Because we just can't deny that Bryn is in love with Sinbad, so ... yeah... xD Anyhow. Once again thank you so much, dear!!!! And I hope to be dealing out more presents in the future.
very welcome
but yeah indeed it's .... i nearly was turning to B/S
yup i see what you mean,,, that's very normal to have Bryn having some crush on him,,,, any woman who witness how he thinks and acts should be and the series showed it very well,
that's so natural and it should take place coz if it didn't then you get to doubt about her! i mean she should be crazy to not to admire him -this hero character- and that in all stories of superhero and such,,
like if superman just tell me which lady didn't have crush on him ?
but thing is this crush could very much temporarily ..... i mean at first only, then the thoughts and feelings change with time when the girl discover
her own hero in someone else very ordinary or else,,, and she'll find herself still love the superhero but just as friend or brother, a deep feelings too,,
the series didn't show what's between Bryn & Sinbad and they had their reasons, you can't blame the producers when they found all of the first season fans got so mad about departure of Jacq and moreover replacing her character by another!!! many of the fans lost their interest on the show and even some didn't follow S2,,, i totaly believe
Hell House was a kind of make up for the fans to regain them again but it wasn't planed they will do it until they discover how the show star declines,,, so they couldn't so much develop S/B relationship but they got to be cautious until the
Stalkers when they make the kiss scene i believe the negative echo from S1 fans was so great that they suspend further development and it was then when they thought of bringing back Maeve even if hints and to clarify to the people that she isn't there anymore by a gentle way and sensual episode,,,, and they give a very small hint that *IT WAS OVER FOR MAEVE THING* at the very last scene in Hell House when Sinbad caress Bryn's face,,,,, that was very significant gesture to show the start of their relationship and Sinbad change -as everyone can notice his face expression and his tenderness then and even his being little wondering like thinking of restart his personal life and let the past boat go away behind him- also he didn't caress her for seconds but bit longer which isn't reflecting a mere friendship or brotherhood,,, also his last gaze to the sea and horizon was one of hope, of new life..... not that one of missing a past life and lost love as he did the whole episode,, where the producers made their best to satisfy S1 fans by getting a nearly confession of his love to Maeve and missing her though he never show it the whole season!!!! but in the end they make it clear somehow it was over, but in gentle way,,
on other hand, you can't blame them not showing this relationship in obvious way while they didn't do it very clear and no confession in S1 between M/S as well except for some teasing and flirting,, some gestures and mere signs that's all,,
so obviously the producers were preparing us for S3 to be very clear S/B with no more Maeve,,,
but for me....... not as a S1 fan only but from psychology side -though i'm not expert- i still go for him not feeling anything to anyone he met in S2 but he did what he did as his character was leading him in this way (it was SO OBVIOUS in first episode ,,,,,, which is one big subject i liked to discuss before but never get chance!) and his attempt to pass through his loss and missing his love without appearing his weakness,,,, if we consider his pride and stubbornness in S1 where he refuse to admit his feelings when she was still there so what do you expect in S2 when she is no more around him,,,, he simply for some reasons didn't want to admit his feelings for her in both seasons as great pride not only the risk of losing her and fear or so,,,
and his feeling towards Bryn in this exact scene should be clearer then when he finally got to admit his love to Maeve at least to himself and kill his pride finally (which happened during the episode) ,, how he appreciate her and like her he discover to that extent that their friendship was very strong,,,, which is very normal as they already are linked by the bracelet power whatever it was,,, not likely to get two people not so close to each other that share such bond,,
so finally all his feelings towards all the people he met including the 2 ladies become suddenely very clear,,, that was his wonder....
as for Bryn, as i said her crush on him should have been take place, that's the very normal situation, other than that would be very very weird and odd, but also her thoughts and feelings changed when realization hit her that it was just admiration and that he's not serious about anything towards anyone,,,, that was in
Stalkers,,,
after this episode i can't honestly remember a real sign of obvious crush from her towards him,, she was treating him as friend and moreover as family member and also as captain,,, he and the crew are all she has, what we expect from her,,, but real crush after this episode ....... didn't notice it!
certainly she discovered that her long-time feelings belong to someone else ... who ever he was, Doubar or someone else,,, and even before Stalkers she had the open probability to admire and being admired by someone else like in Beast of Basra,,,
well, at least those are my thoughts, and i strongly believe in them,
however Sinbad in the first episode
Sacrifice has another story and long discussion,,,, i couldn't help but notice how weird he was!!!
