I'm going to post my fanfic soon, but i'm scared if it is too similar to anyonelse's. I haven't read much of the fanfiction lately, but wondering if anyone has a similar story.
It is a Bryn and Dermott pairing, he gets turned human and its about how Dermott won't share any information about his past because he recognises Bryn there on the day his village and he is afraid she will sway back to her old self if she knew anything.

@thea: a new fanfic?!!!! cool  well, as for the plotline of your fic,yes i read about Dermy and Bryn pairing. but never read about the same plotline of yours. so have confident.  and even if there is a similar one of yours, what is wrong with that? you are going to write yours with your own ways, your own words you are going to draw the character as you see them,through your eyes. so be sure that it will be different for sure.  and oh, there were two writers who wrote about Maeve's trap on her dreams. but both of them wrote it differently and both of them was really enjoyable! I can't wait to read your fic . sounds really interesting! |

@thea: Aya, cannot remember to have read the same plotline before. True, Dermott and Bryn pairings do exist - and most of them (of course) let Dermy be human again. But none I can remember dealt much with Dermott hiding the past from Bryn and how in the end everything gets revealed for most stories that deal with the past of the siblings are s/m ones. So don't worry Thea. You'll be fine. Cannot wait to read your story. And ... yup, great quote you chose. |

Like Bryn said, write what you want to write. If there are similar stories, so what? Don't let that hinder your creativity. And they won't be exactly the same. It will be YOUR story, written in YOUR words, and expressed in YOUR thoughts. |

@sarah&Thea: *nods* Yup, true. Still I can very well understand you worries, Thea. I once wrote a little story for another fandom and was keenly aware that - as the fandom there is a tad bigger than the AoS one - that most likely a similar plotline existed somewhere else. And that made me feel uncomfortable. Still you're right. In the end - even if a similar plotline should exist - aslong as you did not copy it on purpose and aslong as it's nothing but a coincidence that the two have similarities, then you need not worry, Thea. |

Hey, guys these fanfics"re really cool.but some of them dont describe Sinbad and Bryn correnct.They look like such as other people than i saw i saw in film

@alex: Hum, which ones do you mean exactly? I have to admit I haven't read all too many Sinbad/Bryn stories (well, actually I think I only read 2  ) so guess I cannot really judge on that one. But, I take it you're a S/B fan? Thea and Wind will be delighted to hear that. Most of us are S/M shippers but you needn't fear anything. The rpg will hold the S/M pairing but we got our sweet Bryn, too, and the main thing here onboard anyway is to be fan of the series and accept each other's opinion. |

Most of us here prefer season 1 of aos, which is why there is alot of stories here focused on season 1.
Anthea and I are season 2 fans, but even though we like season 2 it doesnt mean that we hate season 1, We both like both seasons the same. and just because everyone else here likes season 1 it doesnt mean that they dont like season 2.

and just because everyone else here likes season 1 it doesnt mean that they dont like season 2. Yup, just like this. I for example do prefer S1, but that doesn't necessarily mean I hate S2. To my opinion, some mistakes have been made with that season, but thing is that somehow the two seasons are like two series anyway. So much has changed from S1 to S2, and while some like those changes, others don't. ***** *grin* Btw, isn't that kind of funny? I'm more a S1 fan, and yet most of the stories I have written hold Bryn, or are about the brunette even. xD |
