As some of you have seen on facebook, I haven't forgotten about our sixth anniversary!! Since I didn't have much time yesterday though, it is today that I am posting here.  So, everybody, can you believe that it's been six years since this forum was founded? And that many of us have been members for much more than five years? I for one almost can't believe it. But it's been an amazing time, and I hope dearly that this is by far not the last anniversary we will celebrate together! To this wonderful crew. To our friends. To our family here on Distant Lands!  |

Wow six years? Congratulations! Especially to TK and Nili who founded it. Well done girls! Your forum has brought a lot of joy to a lot of people!

Aye, six years! It seems almost surreal to think that a little page about a 90s show would stay alive for so long, but then again... we are Nomads. And Nomads are special, right? Oh, but actually it's only Nili who founded this place.  By the time she did so, I'd only been an avid reader of her Long Journey Home and intrigued by her idea of a real play game (which, up to then I had never heard about before x). I signed up as the first member, was later asked to become mod... and well, the rest is history. So, long story short: without Nili there would have never been a Distant Lands. Thus... Thank you, Captain!! And thank you to each and every member, because without you this would be a ghost-ship, sailing the digital seas silently. You guys are the very best!!!!  |
