I saw this episode completely during finishing my subtitles for it a few days ago. So I decided to create the topic for the last episode which was not there so far.
My feelings are quite neutral there, it was not a bad episode, but it will not belong to my favourite episodes as well.
This episode contains a lot of good interaction between the crew.
Their caring about the child was nice and there were a lot of interesting situations. I like how uncomfortable was Sinbad during dealing with child in some moments and how the crew had the fun on his account; Firouz also had some troubles, as was seen several times. Doubar and Bryn on the other hand, they were very good in this role. They would be great parents for any child. It is shame that Rongar was not seen to care about this baby more.
There were next nice moments among the crew. Rongar who was a little aggrieved that Firouz had some doubts about his seeing of this bridge, how Doubar did not want to talk about exchanging of the diaper at the end, Doubar and his aching back, Bryn when she wanted a little privacy for her bath.
On the other hand, the plot was not very interesting for me and I did not understand the concept with these Balardi monks completely. They were all dead for some time, so how it was possible that the people from this caravan did not know about it (when the mother asked the crew to take the child there)? I saw a lot of movies which contained the theme of a chosen one, so it was not such a fascinating idea for me. Maybe, I would wish to know more about the origin of Ajeeb and why he was this chosen one.
The villains were not very interesting for me. The wizard was quite annoying for me (and I was not sure if he knew what happened with the child when he gets close to this Harmony ring, there were some hints of it and if he was i am not sure why he did not warn his boss more). The main villain was a normal thief now, a small change against the evil wizards, power hungry ministers and similar, but nothing too special for me. The idea with the invisible bridge was interesting and I like how Rongar found the truth about it.
