It is one of less interesting episodes of this season, but still has some good points.
The plot or the main villian are not very interesting for me, although his change of behaviour could be a good example how the big power can change a good man. Maybe he really wanted to help people with the usage of his invention at first, but such understanding was above the limits of human's possibilities and that led to the deformation of his character towards evil.
I quite like the character of Jullaner, quite a nice lady and I was sorry for her, when she found how much her father changed and endangered the lives of many innocent people because of his experiments. The whole situation must have shaken to her and she finally decided to correct some of the father's mistakes and help to restore the normal life on the Island of Mylagia. I liked it.
I found that Plunkett has his bio on this website, i guess that the reason for this that he was an old enemy of Sinbad. I must say that the development of his character in this bio sounds very interestingly (the cooperation with Rumina), i used this idea a little in my story as well. So i want to thank to the author. I want to ask it is theoretically possible to create a bio for any living character who had a role in this tv series (i do not want to create any new character at the present time, i am only curious of it)
There were some nice or funny moments in this episode, for example how Rongar helped Maeve when she was attacked by the snake, the first talk of Sinbad with Maeve, the great dialogue of Firouz about ghosts in the castle (it looks that he started to believe a little after The Prince Who Wasn't), the joke about counterfeit money on the account of Doubar, how the crew could not decide which kind of goods they must deliver at the beginning.
