So, once more it's Dec the 14th and that means Distant Lands has got birthday again. It's fifth one! Can you imagine?

So here's celebrating this ship and its amazing crew:

It's been an amazing journey so far and I guess no one would have thought it would last this long.

Five years ago, Nili brought this forum online, asked people to join and soon we created a lovely little family that has grown over the years and brought many new faces to join this awesome bunch of sailors.

And I hope that this is by far not the last anniversary that we will celebrate together. May there be another five years of sailing ahead for all of us!

To this ship, and it's fabulous crew!

I am one of the newest members, but i want to congratulate you on this anniversary. It is great when we take to the account how many years have passed by the end of this Tv series.

Oh and the great picture for this opportunity. I like this beginning scene from the Rescue very much.

And true enough, it seems all the more remarkable when taking into account that it's been, what, 16 years since the show got cancelled? We sure are one loyal bunch of fans. ;D

Thanx, I'm glad you like it. Oh, and the scene definitely counts to my favourites, too. In fact, to me, it pretty much sums up the atmosphere of the whole of S1 - or what it was to me anyway.
