Hm, Hello there! I know it's actually been years, and that I disappeared without saying a word, but first of all let me tell you that it was not done on purpose or bad intentions, it's just that at some point life takes over and you're not able to follow the stuff you did in the past. And this board was unluckily one of them, until Tetisheri found my review on the new tvshow, and brought this place into my mind again. Yes: ladymaeverealm.wordpress.com is my blog ^^ I actually don't even know if you remeber me at all, but still I thought I should give it a try. Now obviously I'm not pretending to come back in Serendib's clothes if you found another roleplayer for her - I was surprised my account is still on and without a "old" in front of the name as your other old players, but I'd love to join back if you still want me, I can change my profile setting and be Nightingale again, leaving the character to it's current owner. But if you don't have someone to take care of her, I'd like also to join back in the rpg as her. Promising this time not to disappear again. I know this might sound like "you've done it once, who tells us you're not gonna do that again" and I understand that, and that's why I'm posting it here. To leave you the choice, and the questions are those: Can I join back the board? Is Serendib taken by someother player? And of course I'm really sorry and sad for my behaviour, but as I told you, life quite overcame me, and I had to struggle a bit to keep mine together. Thank you for the attention, I've been really missing this place, even if I was there for few months.

Serendib? O.O Whaaa! OMG, awesome to see you again. What? And that review was actually YOURS? My God! I never made the connection. Awwww, so we have to thank Teti big time for leaving the review. That's so very awesome. (@ Teti: You're a star!!!! ;D ;D ) Now as for Serendib: No, dear, she's still yours. ;D We didn't have anyone else filter in and ask for her, and truth be spoken, we never put her on the list for "characters to grab" either. So, at least if you're asking me, you're welcome to join in with her again. And, by the way, sure it was a sad to lose you without knowing what had happened. But sometimes life can be a mess - we all know this. And since Serendib had not really been inlcuded in the play yet - apart from the short scene with Kriss (or Kriss referring to her anyway) - there's been no harm done. Main thing is that you came back and didn't forget about us. So, to sum it all up: I for one would be happy to have the young sorceress back in game. We're currently playing the reunion so it might be a little while till the crew and her can get in touch. But ya know, Rongar's still at the tavern - sleeping in late (rpg wise of course I mean ;D ) - so maybe there'd be a chance to get started? So yeah, that's what I got to tell. ;D Welcome back, Serendib! P.S.: Why would you think we forgot about you? I for one didn't.

Awwwwssss Thank you! I was really nervous about dropping here again after what happened, and I also wrote that in the comment to my review that I already knew this place, but I was afraid you woudn't want me back :/ And yes! I'd love to join in with Rongar and the crew and start playing finally! <3 But I'd love to hear what others have to say about this before that. I never really forgot about you all, I actually was pretty much tormenting myself with my leaving without giving any reason, even if so much happened in my life it was hard to keep control, as I told you. But I didn't feel like I had the mind and the courage to get back here, until let's say 'fate' dropped the link on my blog and on my review. Yes, that was mine Thank you so much for your warm welcome, I really appreciate it <3

Awwww, you shouldn't have been nervous to drop in again. *hugs* I for one see no reason why we should hold any grudge against you. Sometimes life's just like this and things happen that we could not foresee. Main thing is to hear you're fine, and even better than this is that fate drew you back to this place. Sure though. We'll wait what the others think about this (though, really, I cannot imagine anyone will opt against re-booting Serendib - even moreso since poor Rongar at the moment is stuck in bed at the tavern and can't do much till the crew returns with Maeve... which, telling from the pace of things, could take another few months, lol xD ). Once again, welcome back to DL. And you're most welcome. <3 P.S.: Errr, did I already mention btw that I loved the blog entry? I should really leave a comment on this one day. ^^

No, you didn't tell me, but I'm glad you did! It took me at least 3 days to write it down and translate it, and it was a huge work, but I'm glad I did because...it was pretty much a HUGE thing for me to see another show on Sinbad... I tried to be as objective as i could, even if part of me was screaming "YOU'LL NEVER BE MY CAPTAIN!" lol I'm such a fangirl sometimes And you're very welcome to leave me a comment ^^ I didn't got into much into spoilers and details, because it was a pubblic review, but there would have been so much to tell about that ^^

p.s. I know this might be a stupid question, but there is a way to have the board sending me an email everytime there's a new reply in the threads I joined?

Wow, three days! O.O But sure, it's such a long review and the translation takes its time, too. I can well imagine it was a whole lot of work to do. But it was totally worth it! Aww, same here though: we were all excited but also really rather sceptical about the new show, but it turned out our scepticism was unnecessary. ^^ And some of us couldn't help the comparing either. ;D And true enough - while I have really grown to like the new show there'll never be a better Sinbad out there than ours! ;D ;D ;D Hum, as for the e-mail thing tho... actually I don't know. >_> Khei mentioned something about Thea having set her account to e-mail alert when she gets a pm so it seems at least that would be possible. I don't really think you can subscribe to a thread though. But I guess we should best ask Nili about it. She knows this board best after all.

Ok, so we'll ask Nili as soon as she gets here ^^ Meanwhile I have to get dressed because my parents want me with them for dinner, there's some kind of a party going on, and we'll see how it goes. I might come back later or if not tomorrow after work ^^ Have a nice evening and thank you again for the support <3

Sounds like a good plan. ^^ I bet she'll leave a comment here anyway. =D Ooh, and have fun at that party then. I'm sure it'll be a lovely evening!!! See you around later then, or tomorrow (actually I gotta go offline, too, so it might rather be tomorrow for me xD ). And as I said before, you're most welcome! <3 =D

Serendib!! It´s awesome to see you And as Doubs already said, i am sure nobody here is going to hold a grudge against you, quite the contrary, we´re glad to see you again and see you are doing fine. Sometimes life happens, no apologies there, please. As Doubar mentioned before, no, Serendib is not yet taken, things are developing at an easy going pace here which surely enough is also due to me and my sporadic posting with this and that going on. So, i agree, having a chat with Rongar might be a good idea to get back into things for Serendib. As for the notification thing: unfortunately as far as I am informed, proboards does not offer this like blog sites do.

@nili - Thank you! I'm so happy to be back, actually <3 Yes, I am doing quite fine at the moment, I'm trying to sort out my life and hoping everything will solve, eventually ^^ I'm really looking forward to play with Rongar! I could continue the old "finding Serendib" thread to wake her up and then open another one maybe? Or Rongar is playing in a thread that I can join?
@teti - Yes, that's me! You really rescued an old crew member here ^^ I'm glad you did!

Or Rongar is playing in a thread that I can join? Well, the last thing Rongar's been active with was this one. Firouz sighed as he woke to the sun lighting up his and Rongar's room with its dull yet bright morning light.
He blinked a bit and rolled to his side to peer at the dark moor who shared the room with him.
All he could see under the large mound of blankets was Rongar's dark, bald head and the slight movements of his soothing, deep breath.
He quickly rose to his feet and moved to the washbasin that was under the window. He poured some cool water into the bowl, grabbed a washcloth that was hanging over the bowl's edge, and submerged it under the cool water.
The tang of cold against his warm skin sent jolts of wakefulness through his body and his higher brain functions quickly began to organize themselves.
After a quick, but cleansing wash of his face, shoulders, arms, and chest, he moved to his bed once more and grabbed his boots.
Amazingly, to him, Rongar moved not an inch!
His silent friend had excellent hearing and almost hawk-like eyes due to his lost of speech, so to have him sleeping still through his morning absolutions was shocking.
Once his boots were on, his shirt tied up, and his vest and amulet over his shirt, he softly thudded over to Rongar's bed.
He leaned over and lightly shoved the place where his chambermate's should would be.
He stepped back instantly through learned response; he didn't want to have a dirk at his throat.
Nothing.
With an eyebrow raised, he stepped back to the bed, shoved Rongar's shoulder a bit harder and repeated his retreat.
Still nothing.
With an exasperated sigh, he placed both hands on his friend's side and squaked as the blanket immeditately fell from Rongar's head and revealed a very annoyed dark black-brown eye.
Firouz shoved him lighter than he had planned just then and said, "It's time to wake up."
Rongar pursed his lips and pulled his blanket back up and rolled over onto his stomach.
Firouz, surprised by Rongar's almost child-like behavior, took a step back, huffed, and said, "Rongar, wake up!"
The blanket fell again and Rongar's eyes were now glaring at him.
Firouz grumbled under his breath, shrugged, and said again giving up on getting him out of bed, "Dawn's breaking Rongar."
Just as he reached the door, a swoosh flew by his ear.
Startled, he looked up and saw a dirk lightly vibrating where it rested in the dark wooden frame of the door.
With a startled yelp, he cried out, "Okay! Okay! Sleep!"
Faster than Rongar could throw, he felt like, Firouz was out the door.
As the door closed, Rongar smiled smugly to himself and closed his eyes once more. distandlands.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ale&action=display&thread=452&page=1
(btw. @ Rongs: I still love that scene to the max. ;D ) So, no, atm he's not active in another thread but rather sleeping in after a long night's shift. ;D Thus, if Rongs agrees, you two could start off with a whole new thread. The "Finding Serendib" one is closed tho and can't be re-booted anymore because the play has moved on since. Also, since we didn't have full insight into what Serendib's old player had planned to do with it, we decided to lay that aside. I hope that's alright with you. P.S.: I scanned your review on the new series once more... so your favo character is Gunnar? Welcome to the club. He's my favourite, too. ;D Next come Anwar, Cook and then Sinbad. ;D

Uahahahaha yes! My torally favourite is Gunnar! I have a thing for Viking and tormented heroes and he's BOTH! I am patiently waiting for you to see the latest episode (I actually just finished watching it) and I'm dying to comment it with you, BUT I wanna wait until you've seen it in order not to ruin anything! As for the roleplay - I should talk to Rongar then? Maybe private message? And as for Serendib's can I open another thread and start moving her again? Like she's just awaken, or something?

Aaaaaaaaah... now you've made me totally IMPATIENT to watch the new ep. *bites nails* Because if you want to discuss that means we'll get to know something about him (and telling from the preview at the end of ep 10 it's gonna be interesting!). Gah, but I might have to wait till tomorrow with watching. >.< Be assured tho that I'll let you know as soon as I watched it so we can discuss everything. ;D Aha, and Teti for sure will want to join us there. She likes Gunnar, too (though maybe not quite as much as Anwar ^^ ). ;D And yeah, that would seem like a good idea. I'm sure she'll be happy to get Rongs out of bed. ;D As for Serendib: There's nothing to be said against you waking her up I think. You could well start with her getting up - get used to writing her again and stuff, and then either Rongar joins you or the other way round. I guess that depends on who's down for breakfast first. xD Or maybe they'll meet in the corridor? Only you two can tell. ;D In any case I'm totally looking forward to seeing Serendib back in action. My, that shall be interesting for the crew. Here they are about to get Maeve back, and as a bonus they'll get Serendib, too. ;D P.S.: Eheheh, yeah, the merits of a tormented Viking. ;D Tho I must admit for me it's more this certain kind of wisdom combined with his (mental) strength and the slight mystery that I absolutely love. Hah, and you just gotta adore his dry remaks. They crack me up everytime he makes them. He and Cook really are so funny in their very own way. ;D
