And as I read somewhere it was a little shame that Maeve did not get so much room in the second half of the episode. The first half was full a lot of nice moments between Maeve/Sinbad. I would be curious of her reaction to this situation. Although I completely understand why he analyzed the situation with Doubar.
And it was quite funny, how Omar considered his advisors to be big heroes the whole episode. They probably experienced good times after the return to Basra.

It seemed to me a little strange why Firouz congratulated concretely Doubar on saving Rongar from the swamp (he said to him something in the style: "It was amazing. You managed it."). It was the common work of all members, so why Firouz talked towards Doubar concretely there?
But the comment of Doubar towards Rongar after the leaving of Firouz was quite funny, I admit it.

Even this ep is a good one, I don't like it much because of the very big gap between the first half and the second half. I have the feeling like I watch two different eps in 45 minutes. With what Maeve and Sinbad had in the first half, there should have been more scenes of them or at least of Maeve's reaction in second half instead of nothing. Ok, I saw one scene when Maeve talked to someone (I think it was Firouz) about Sinbad's strange behavior but it's too less to count. However, there is a missing scene that written by Electra11 (I guess she plays Rumina here, right? I've never meet her so I'm not sure). It's very nice one and it fills the gap in my opinion. Its only weakness is it's a lot sweeter than I expect.

Indeed it would seem a little weird that Firouz congratulated Doubar when it was really something the whole team accomplished. On the other hand, they still had to pull Rongar out of that swamp and without Doubar's strength they probably wouldn't have been able to do so, so I guess that's why he thanked him. Oh but true that. It's sad how Maeve had to step back so suddenly. Ban gave you a great link though. Electra (and Ban you're right. She is our Rumi ) wrote a lovely missing scene.

Do not you think that crew was a little unrighteous to these advisors of Omar? Yes, they were cowards, but how they could save Omar from the hands of this enormous monster alone? They did not probably had any combat experience (these experiences were not useful for any of the Omar's soldiers moreover) or technical knowledge of Firouz for fighting, they could only try to locate him and bring some help. And how we can know that they were not trying to do exactly this when they met with the crew in the forest?

Now that is true indeed. I assume though that for the crew it is such a foreign concept to not at least try to fight that it didn't cross their minds. While in many regards the crew is very open-minded in others there are certain archeo-types still firmly in place and that's that a man should fight and not run away. In their view it was rather honourless to leave Omar behind, and being protrayed as clumsy as they are one has to assume that while good-hearted these two advisors really are rather useless and cowardly in general. Also, remember how loyal the crew is to each other. They'd all die for Sinbad, so leaving their captain behind is a huge no-go to them. In a way, Omar is the captain of the advisors, hence their reaction. On a personal level though, yes, I agree fully with you. It was a bit harsh to condemn them for being scared.

Quite a nice assumption of you, Doubar. I can understand this point of view, they are always ready to fight for anyone and they think that a man should fight. I can't seriously imagine these two advisors to attack this monster from behind, they were not very useful and it was so easy to scare them (on the other hand, they certainly are not used to meet such creatures contrary to the crew). Even at the end they immediately started to run off when the plan failed. But maybe I am mistaken, did not they go to help Omar there before Sinbad lured the moster away?

It was seen in this episode that Sinbad still has the medailon from Omar in Double Trouble. He was seen wearing it here, but I have a question, was this medailon seen in some different episodes after Double Trouble or Bully? Or it was shown there only because of the connection with Omar?
And one more thing, I noted in the official description that Omar and Doubar were afraid that Omar will be forced to arrest Sinbad if he kills Harun without provocation. I never noticed this in the episode, but when I remember this glance exchanged between Omar and Doubar when Sinbad left the village... it could indicate something, do not you think?

I thik medalion appears only in these two episodes. I have never noticed this arrest-Sinbad theory anywhere but I've got the feeling that the show would rather go into the direction that what have happended on the island remains on the island. All in all, Sinbad is Basra's hero.

I would not also notice this theory, but I looked accidentally into the episode guide and noticed it. We can find some mistakes in description of different episodes (The Village Vanishes for example) so we can overlook it easily.
Moreover, I seriously doubt that Omar would even know about the revenge of Sinbad, I think that even the rest of the crew did not know precisely what was between this Harun guy and their captain. If Omar would really cover him, if something happened... I am not quite sure, maybe you are right.
